Let's get interest going for the 3 inch barrel first and see how it turns out.
I know Corrose will knock it out the park.
This could open the door to future projects of guns :)

Re: Revolver added to interest list!!!!

Spoke to Corrose yesterday and he has given me the Green light to take interest up for Harvey Dent's Revolver - Smith and Wesson 64 Model with 3' Heavy Barrel.

:panic::yess:

If anyone interested owns this revolver or knows someone who does.

Please provide as many reference pics.

No prices have been set yet. Corrose is currently working on other projects.

I am totally interested in the gun! Let me know if a diff list comes out for that.

You can count me as interested in the gun as well.

I'm interested for a Dent coin and revolver depending on the price. Thanks!

I'm sorry about not getting pics of the gun up. It slipped my mind. I'll try to get them up tomorrow.

(Corrose) 2Face Coin, .38 Revolver, Anton 58" Quarter --- [UPDATE] WIP .38 REVOLVER!

:wave

:panic: :blissy

Corrose and I are still discussing the best options available to get these 3d printed individually

or

go the recast route.

Each will have different prices. I will update with prices as soon as I have the information.

Still taking names for Coin, .38 revolver and Anton's quarter

Re: (Corrose) Harvey Dent/Two-Face Coin / Revolver - Anton Chigurh 1958 "Lucky ...

Yeah, in general, I severely dislike making molds. It would take a lot off of my plate if I had a regular person here in the states I could send 3d prints to, and have molds made. I don't have a problem with 1 part molds, its just when it comes to 2 parts that need pour spouts, and vacuuming done, those really frustrate me.

If anyone does this, or knows someone, send them my way.

Re: (Corrose) Harvey Dent/Two-Face Coin / Revolver - Anton Chigurh 1958 "Lucky ...

3d printing or molding... Interesting. I guess it depends on the detail level the printer is set at. I imagine at this size it may not be too bad.

3d printing is booming right now...I have had to edit two pieces about it now, so my fascination is growing.

It will be a combination of doing the first print and then casting from there on out.

As far as details are concerned, the printer will get the Smith & Wesson and the .38 special engraving on the 3" barrel. :panic::panic:

Awesome stuff here! wow

:hi5: Thanks Man!

Edit: Wrote this early, but all credit goes to Corrose.

That's the hope here. I have had some good luck with very fine details. I'm hoping even this small of a piece the print picks up some of the engraving, but won't know until I do that first print.

One thing that would be extremely helpful is if someone could give me a length measurement of the hot toys .38. Not the barrel length, but the length from grip to the end of the barrel.

Can anyone post this info?
