Cult King's next offering is "Road Fighter." Pre-orders should be going up this weekend at some point. A muscle body will be used for the production version, and the head will be repainted.

Looks really nice. I'm not 100% sold on the sculpt though. Is it all new or another reuse of the Riggs head? It looks new to me.
Looks new to me, as well. Though the likeness isn't 100%, it's a great Max figure. The weathering is really nice.
I think the first images we saw were of the painted sculpt. Here they are:

It is very nice. I think Jake Rahmier once modded a Riggs sculpt into a Max... I'll see if I can find it.

Was always going to be an insta buy for me, simply because of the character. Despite the body used for the pics doing it no favours, the outfit looks really good. The head sculpt? Well, I think it looks a lot better in the first pictures that were shown of it a while back. Maybe a bit youthful, but then i guess it's easy to forget exactly how young Mel Gibson actually was way back then. I don't know who takes the 'official' shots used for pre-orders these days or whether they use different people, but some of them (the Max pics above, the recent 'Heat' duo) aren't overly flattering to the figures they're supposed to be selling.

I'm bit of a noob when it comes to customs. I just got into this hobby few months ago so I missed most direct PO's.
I ordered young capo full set from manofactionfigures and they came through. I also have young Vito on order with them.
I also have an inspector .44 fullset coming in which I purchased from a fellow collector on this forum.
I have other customs, rainman pieces, Iminime blondie, ect ect which I purchased from friends or eBay.
But I want to grab as many new releases directly from the custom company as possible.

So I love this company and this character, but I feel like a few things jump out at me:
-Love the knee-pad, best one I have seen yet
-The jacket looks very odd. Collar and length of the jacket both look off. Zipper is too big.
-I like the boots, although they look sculpted.
-I dig the belt accessories, especially the binocs.
-Head looks ok. Size looks good, but likeness seems behind others like VM's.
-I like the sculpted hands but dislike the extreme pose for the left hand.
-Love the weathering, which is so important for this character.
