Why does it seem that often times when there is a project like this going a knockoff suddenly pops up? It happened with Neo, Conan and Joker. It's not like there is some huge marketing campaign going on somewhere. I'm assuming that's not a recast like the Majestic Joker and I think possibly Neo. I guess it's possible it has something to do with the knockoff Don Vito. While the $29 version don't look like it holds a candle to the Iminimi, not to mention the custom suit, it's still a bit curious.
Anyway looking forward to getting this one. Hope it turns out as well as the protos.

Hey guys, sorry for my silence but I really haven't been around much lately. I haven't had much time to keep up with the forum, so when I do poke in here and there I'm easily distracted by all else I'm trying to catch up on. Well, the Headplay Neo head came first. . . well, truth be told there's been a number of Neos before iminime did theirs. There was a Conan head that was a modified recast of the old HT MMS, that I believe hit before sdabbs started on his, which I believe was subsequently started on as a replacement for KP's Fantasy Warrior head. And well, yes MJ's Joker was recast.
There's always a knock-off because these characters are popular and there is demand for them. When we start seeing Nucky Thompson knock-offs or Anakin Skywalker knock-offs, then I think there may be something there, but there will always be bootleg heads out there of popular characters.
