The email I received said that the suit is more brown in hand, and that the camera filter captured it far more red than it actually is.

I think it looks really nice. The suit's cut isn't perfect, but the figure overall is really good looking. BUT - he should come with a knife. $450 for a figure with a reused head sculpt that doesn't include the key accessory of the scene that it's based on isn't as good value as the other Godfather full sets.

new photos of V2 are up on Dennys FB, so happy thats the outfit they went with, but, im not loving the cut and color of the suit.. its a bit bulky and more red than brown..

Agree. I like the choice of suit and scene it's taken from but not sold on the execution (at least, not at first sight). I really don't get an abundance of red being in there at all. I thought the actual suit was just straight-up rusty brown from what I can recall, with any variance in colour/shade being attributable to the beating down Sicilian sun?

The v2 is a good set but again the suite color bothers me! I mean I understand the camera capturing it red like but that is out and out red in color!

I think the cut looks fine and overall the suit looks great.

I would've loved a knife. I'm disappointed that the suit doesn't have any stripes like in the film and that red is really throwing off the look, it may be more brown in person but still their must be a large amount of red in the color for it show up like that.

I guess we won't know for sure until it ships out. But I think I'm going to just go head sculpt only... Maybe H&C just because I love the "Sicilian revenge" scene and I'd love to represent that in my display. The sculpt was already terrific but The addition of the mustache brings out the likeness even more IMO, I absolutely love the sculpt.

I bought the h and c set as well. I didn't mean to be too harsh on the figure I love the sculpt and I love that this is the chosen outfit. I just would have hoped to have seen a thinner fabric to make that lapel sit a bit flatter. Knife is a key addition as well, I hope that's included. Easy enough to find after the fact I suppose.

If I end up getting this, I'm definitely thinking going H&C. Without the knife, the fullset isn't super appealing ATM.

But the figure looks great!

DID's pattern and color look more accurate to me. Just not as quality tailored and cut as Iminime's.

DIDs jacket is a completely different thing though. it works for the other outfit from the film, not this one. Its more of an overcoat than a suit jacket

They are completely different outfits from completely different scenes guys.

But the DID is not accurate in the slightest. The shirt and overcoat are pretty accurate and the rest is made up
