Well this is something I couldn't wait to show you:

They're designed to possibly go along with the WIP Custom 1/6 Street Diorama Bases but since there'll be a lot of steps to discuss about to make the lamps and and since they'll not only be scene specific, I think there could be some general interst in something like this.

Hope you like the first teasers, lmk what you think! :yess:

Thanks! :hi5:

I'm in.. want one for my Joker

That's who they're actually designed for. :yess:
Have you seen the draft in the dio bases thread already?

To get an imagination, they'll be more than three times higher than a regular 1/6 figure.

Here is a WIP total view, many areas are still to be refined:

Re: Custom 1/6 Classic Street Lamp

Really love your work Pirate. Wish I could pick up one of your Street Dio! Are you going to be selling those btw?

I'm interested in this depending on the price. Would go along with my DX11 + 12 nicely and your street dio if you end up putting it up for sale.

Thanks man! Yes, please have a look at this thread: WIP Custom 1/6 Street Diorama Bases

Atm I have no concret idea what the street lamps will cost but they'll become pricey to build, specially because of their size.

Since there are still many steps to the first proto they'll most likely be an optional add-on for the actual dio bases at a later time.

This is amazing and so ambitious. This is great to see since it is my favorite scene from any movie.

I'm curious to know what you are going to do for Batman seated on the Batpod since he doesn't look too natural on it. Are you going to mod him at all to fit better?

Thanks man! It's one of my favourite scenes as well, especially as it shows Batman's and The Joker's first meet.

One could use the street lamps along with my planned "We got you!" diorama, too so Batman wouldn't need to ride the Bat-Pod.

But I'm probably going for the "Hit Me!" scene for my own dio, so I have one DX12 that I only got for this setup waiting in the box since it was released and I'll probably remove it's fat suit underneath when it's time to display it.
It can look great as for example TK0083's pics show:

I'm also very happy I could make a deal with TonyMeis to get one of his new wired capes to optimize the look: :yess:

Please put me down for one. I'd love it to go with my Sherlock Holmes and Watson.

Great idea! Can you share pics of them please?

At this point I'm thinking about making two versions, one in accurate 1/6 and one a little smaller, as in 1/6 they would be giants.

I meant if you could post some pics of your Sherlock Holmes and Watson. :)

But no problem, now I know what you're looking for. Think they're quite different but style-wise it could fit anyhow.

Think I'll make some tests with papercraft models to see how it will look in relation to figures.

From the dio bases' thread:

(...) Another good news is: The street lamps will become realilty. Wasn't sure for some time but now there has been so much work in them, that there's no way back. :lol

Let me share this small teaser with you, and be prepared:
