Hmm. . .

They're just slightly longer foot pegs. It's like swapping hand pegs. :)

And it probably wouldn't be the best idea to just buy different pants because he'd still be too short.

Where can I purchase them?

i've decided to just repaint the BCS head - the neck on this sculpt is just too short to work in my opinion. i'm going to sell it as i think the likeness on the BCS is really great, just not the paint. live and learn i guess. it's a shame about sculpts with impossibly short necks. i wish it would be a case of erring on the side of caution, providing a longer neck that could be sanded down if need be.

Right, so it's early morning here and I decided to have a quick look through my kitbash mountain. . . y'know, just for a giggle.

Please be aware that all of this is just slung together to have a quick preliminary look at.

Here's what I found:

Suit 1 with Ebay Knockoff body.

Suit 2 with Ebay Knockoff body.

Suit 1 & 2 side-by-side

Suit 3 (Trousers are really bad)

IMG_1474.JPG

Suit 3 shirt only

Which happened to be on a better body. . . (always keep your socks and shoes on, boys)

This is the better body (right) next to Ebay knockoff body (left). Can anyone tell from the picture make/model etc? HT?

I should be able to tack back where and what each suit is, as I do keep records.

Thoughts?

I know someone who might want that - sling me a PM with cost + delivery UK, and I'll ask them tomorrow. I know they were going the BCS route, but might not have done so yet.

My Pop Toys has arrived and I liked the set, less the scarf... Anyone knows where can I find a good one?
I think the head is going to arrive tomorrow, then I shot some photos for you guys

Could anyone make a picture of short-haires version on HT Slim body (TTM22)? I think it may be a suitable body for this a bit small head. Or am I missing something here, and this option has already been shown? Thanks!

Seeing as this thread is dying, I thought I'd show you what I've got until a better body and clothes come along. Not perfect, but does the job -

I need to get longer ankle pegs so that the trousers sit right.

I just got Doco's headsculpt and it's even better in person than the pictures. The sculpting and casting are top notch. This is the best headsculpt I've purchased from a SSF member.

I finally got my Daco head together with the PT body and outfit.
Once the coat is pinned closed (close to the body) and the collar is put up, I think the head looks the perfect size.
There was no need for a body swap IMHB. I did swap out the hands for gloves.
My only complaint about the PT coat is the the button covers keep falling off, and his left pocket flap sticks out.
Eventually I will glue that down.

Once again a big THANK YOU to Daco for this amazing sculpt and paintwork :clap:clap:clap

Now bring on his friend!

Is it the angle of the photo or do the left and right buttons not line up? The spacing and alignment are wonky as well. It looks to me like all the buttons would benefit from re-application.

I started to write: Not the angle and not noticeable when the coat is open but it is off when pinned closed. I still prefer it closed to look less bulky.

I take it back now. It just needs to be futzed to make the buttons even

Does look better with the coat pulled in like that. Any chance of a picture from you with just the suit?

Here is a picture with a little more futzing. Sorry for the poor quality.

The body is not that great and when I first took him out of the package his feet kept falling off. Since I don't plan any action poses for Sherlock, the body works fine for me. Changing the hands is a must since the skin tone is too tan for the figure. I like the gloved look myself.

There are suit pics in previous posts and Pop Toys definitely makes a quality suit. I haven't taken off the coat yet for fear I wouldn't be able to put it back on correctly.
