I don't really know much about fabric printing, but if you could print it on some of that microfiber cloth you can get for cleaning your glasses the scarf would probably look pretty good. That stuff lays nice. Not sure if that would even be possible, though.

I wanted to try the wig route so we'll be commissioning our wig maker to make a fitted wig.

The "Planet of Evil" Sarah Jane will be sculpted cause it was longer but short enough she will still be able to turn her head.

These won't be coming out all together but rather as they are done so it should be less painful. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I've told the lady what kind of material I'd like (she's in Germany) and I am going to get three different material samples with the pattern printed on them to see what looks best.

Hey gang,
Small update for today. I updated the interest list. Thank you everyone! While I am still waiting to see samples of the two fabric printed pieces I had made for Romana's vest and Toms scarf, and waiting for news of our K-9 (which should be printed out now!), I wanted to announce there will be one more figure added to the Fourth Doctor: The End wave, but for the sake of suspense will debut it whenever it is done rather than announce it beforehand as it is a pretty neat experiment to test what our "X" can do... :hi5:

All or Romana's material for her costume is picked up. Now I am searching for Plum material for Tom.

Romana will prob be the first human figure done, and Ainley will prob be the last, released as they are done to ease the wallets (since costumes are involved).

WGP Who UPDATE:

Every Who fan was pretty much gutted with the passing of Elisabeth Sladen. It made me want a custom of her for my shelves more than ever.
Doing things a bit in reverse which I like to do when possible, is show you the finished sculpt. Now it just needs to be printed and cast, which should be about a month, so she will be available fast.

The digital pics below were painted in computer.

Not that she needs any specific one, but WGP are working to try and make a costume available of her by Christmas time too.

Hey gang,
Just to update this thread as I have been with all of the other Who ones we have going, K-9 is sculpted, allegedly printed, and we are awaiting it's shipment to us from China, where we had to go to get good price to print it out physically. Getting K-9 made has been an unusually long and difficult process. :mad:

Romana II has come up to que and her costume will be started within a month. Her head as well. WGP had three head sculptors now so things are kicking into high gear, as shown by the recent surprise addition of our Sarah Jane head and upcoming INVASION Brigadier.

After Romana II will be our S18 Tom. His only hold-up has been my problem at finding plum material. I may have to fabric print that material too.

I think I timed my exit from CO collecting rather well....the moment was definitely prepared for :)

Which expression are you planning for Tom?
 
Just wanted to update, I am expecting to be able to have the Tom and Lalla heads ready for show in Dec, hopefully WITH completed costumes!
