I deeply apologize for my absence from this forum, lack of delivering this product, and of course not keeping any of you informed about the reasons why.
Not too long after my update back in May I had a horrid accident happen to me.
As many of you may know I work with a lot of hazardous materials in the work I do. I had taken on a lot of work and had to bring my work home with me to meet deadlines for final projects.
While working on a project for I had left the apartment for a get together with friends to celebrate the end of the semester.
Unfortunately, I had forgotten to unplug my hot glue gun. The Fire marshal told me that the entire apartment had caught fire from the hot glue gun landing on the rug which was then accelerated by the hazardous materials I was using for some of my school work.
Everything from my school work, personal records/files, My figures, my computer, clothes, money/credit cards was lost in the fire... It was devastating ...the list is too long and I don't feel like reliving the loss.
Along with everything lost in the fire was the berets and ties I had been working on for months in.
As I didn't have renters insurance I had a lot of drama that ensued with this in my life considering I still had another year of school left and was/still dealing with a legal situation with my landlord because of the suspicion of arson.
However, after much therapy to help deal with the unbelievable loss and pressure of the legal situation I feel I am turning around to a much better place in my mental health.
However this hobby has always been my true "therapy." Therefore now that the situation in my life has calmed down a bit I want to return to this hobby in whatever capacity I can afford.
I have to begin from scratch but I am going to redo the berets, ties and handkerchiefs that were lost in my apartment fire.
I am currently searching for the proper fabrics to re start the project.
Again I am sorry for all of this. I love this community and I hope you all know that it was never my intention to fall off the face of the earth like this. I am still very young and this is one my first life crisis and it led me to a dark place. I hope you can all understand I had / still do have a lot of mixed emotions and pressures related to this incident. And it was never my intention to disappear with the money.
But rest assured I am back! And ready to get back into the game!
