Matthew Perry's tragic death prompted me to finally unveil these sculpts of the Friends gang I had done over the past year.

I want to get Chandler printed this coming week.

1. Ross
I re-sized the v.collectibles head to fit with Chandler and Joey.

For those who purchased version 1.0, this head will cost only $35 as long as you buy at least one of the other head. If you buy all five other heads, it will be included free.

2. Chandler

Version A (Season One) or Version B (Later seasons) $125 or $200 for both

3. Joey

Version A (neutral expression) or Version B ("How you doing?") $125 or $200 for both

4. Phoebe

Bald $75 / Hair $100. (The neck will be removed and fit to a Phicen S46/7).

5. Monica

Bald $75 / Hair $100. (The neck will be removed and fit to a Phicen S46/7).

6. Rachel

Bald $75 / Hair $100. (The neck will be removed and fit to a body to be determined).

Good news. We finally recovered the Ross sculpt files. I will print Ross re-sized and then show the three male heads. I haven't decided on a body yet for Rachel and Monica.

Outfits

Ross- The One With Unagi

Gotta get that classic hand gesture in there too.

Rachel- Red cardigan top and jeans or slip dress. I’d try to keep the ladies mostly covered to avoid needing seamless bodies.

Chandler and Joey- gotta be a scene specific combo- ‘Bracelet Buddies’ or from the Apartment-bet quiz. Hell, I’d take that episode as primary reference for everyone and call it a day.

Joey also wears a nice jacket and scarf here

Rachel and Monica also pair great in that episode

Phoebe- The orange fur coat is a bonafide classic

Monica- if not the quiz outfit then the one from when Rachel moved out.

Rachel’s outfit is also very memorable here but she isn’t wearing shoes.


This group shot all has good options for Ross, Rachel, Joey and Chandler.

Will there be painted reference too?

I am having the Season One Chandler painted by rodman_dyl. I sort of want to paint them myself for my figures, but I am not as good as the painters-for-hire. There may be some painted examples of Ross in the old thread.

Sandwisch Sideburn, I like all of your ideas on the women. The Season One outfit for Chandler is a sweater vest, so I favor one of his BanLon/bowling shirts. Let's get Ross decided upon.

- black ankle boots

There is no sign no sign of the pants being jeans or courdroys on the BluRay; they are just solid black chicos.

It's one of the most popular episodes and it would be a very inexpensive outfit, which is good.

Since it’s got to be all 6 character or nothing, inexpensive is a pretty high priority.
Gotta save up for the glory that will be Phoebe’s fur coat.

Anyways, Unagi Ross gets my vote.

If you don’t mind my asking, is there any chance of revising/refining Rachel’s hair sculpt? The other girls look great but the hair is letting Rachel down a bit.

Looks like you’re going for this style- which is my preference- but it could do with a little reshaping and more detail.

Yes, Rachel’s hair needs to be revised, once we settle on an outfit. I am going to use the bald sculpts for my own figures.

I worked on Chandler so he can have an open collar shirt unbuttoned with the Season One outfit. I just swap hair for the short hair version of Chandler.

The body is a DiD Advanced v3 (OA60003).

I can do this modification for Joey or Ross too if the outfit requires it.

Is it mad to consider doing Joey in all the clothes…

An outfit that layered would be seriously tricky to pull off in 1/6.

Or what about the ‘Dammit, Carl!’ All black leather jacket ensemble?

Here are my final candidates for the bodies:

Ross (6' 1") TTM-18 with the long ankle extenders or the tall knock-off version sold on eBay

Chandler (5'11") DiD Advanced 3.0

Joey (5' 9") TTM-18 with the regular ankles

Phoebe (5' 8") Phicen S16

Rachel (5' 4") Jiaou 19B-WS01

Monica (5' 4") Jiaou 19B-WS01

The TTM, DiD, and Phicen bodies are all readily available.

The Jiaou are available on eBay, but for some reason GianToy and Ekia Hobbies are no longer carrying them. I strongly suggest getting two bodies in the (WS01) Pale or Suntan (PM) now.

The female bodies are not perfect, but they allow the characters to all look proportionate to one another. If you have a realistic alternative, please suggest it.

Already have the V Collectibles Ross from a few years back. My vision is to have him in the Frankie Says Relax from the Tiny Shirt episode.

I would love to be able to add the rest of the cast as well . Will these be limited ?
