Where I Belong!
To defeat my enemy, I extinguish his life...

This started off as a personal project.
I had ordered VM's INCREDIBLE Street Brawler Bill the Butcher and I started making a custom base for it. One of the elements I wanted to include in my base was Vallon's Celtic Staff.

I modeled the staff in 3D and placed the order with one of the 3D printers. The least amount of these I could order to fulfill the minimum was 3. So I painted 1 for myself and would love to sell the other 2 since I do not need them. Also I wanted to note that the raw unfinished print is 1 piece, and the plastic material has a tiny bit of flex to it which is nice.

If there is any interest, I can sell either of the 2 (unpainted) for $15 each shipped in the US.
With each one I will also send enough of each color fabric cord to wrap around the staff where the iron head meets the wooden handle.

I can obviously have more printed, I just wanted to gauge interest first since no one is really doing the figure.

Post here or PM if interested or you have any questions.

My painted up one.
Note: The apparently rough and rugged edges of the iron cross are all from the paint app.
The actual print is really clean with slightly rounded edges.

A few days away from having some test files printed for a new project. I could easily add in a couple more of these if folks were still interested.

Shoot me a PM or reply and let me know.

Thanks

With the new release of Rainman's Bill the Butcher, I thought I would bump this thread. Would make a great trophy at the feet of Bill.

I need a minimum of 3 orders to do a new run. PM me if interested.

I have gotten some PMs here and there on these since I sold my last one about making more. I have plans on tweaking the model this weekend and possibly offering these up again. I would have to have a minimum of 3 ordered to make it happen.

Please let me know if you might be interested so I can start to gauge things.

That is a wonderfully crafted piece Corrose!

Like you say makes a great trophy for Bill :clap

Since my v.1 have tracked down a few more images of the screen used prop, so I was able to get a little better idea of how it was designed. On my original design the main handle and bottom pieces were designed flat, for this version I changed the main handle piece to be cylindrical, like a broom handle for example. I also adjusted how the circle overlays the cross based on the newer photos. I also had to take a little creative license and make the handle a little bit narrower than the proportions of the actual prop so that it looked right being held by a 1/6 figure.

Im thinking what I would like to do is have a few samples printed so I can show you guys first. One of the new materials they are offering for their 3d printing is Alumide, which has aluminum dust mixed in with the nylon. I'm hoping that the result on this material is a perfect look for the iron cross part.

And you guys would be able to choose which material you want yours in based on photos.

Thoughts?

Here is a screenshot of the model I worked up this weekend.
Would love thoughts asap, as I would like to place the order early this week for the samples.

I have 4 interested so far, if anyone else is even possibly interested, please let me know, I don't want to go too deep in out-of-pocket expenses with a bunch of material samples if the run is going to be minor.

Anyone else interested?

At the end of the day as long as I get a cast I'm not too worried about the material its out of. So don't go broke on the project as I'm find busting out the paints :duff

Ok, I placed my order yesterday and I got an email today saying that they should have my prints sent within 10 business days, so once those come in, I will show you guys what our material options are.

The 2 prints I ordered in both material types arrive today via ups. Once I have in hand I'll upload some photos and give pricing and info for next steps.

Please subscribe to the thread if you were previously interested so that you don't miss the order deadline. I'm not saying I wouldn't do another run after this, I'd just prefer to get them all done at once.

Stay tuned!
