So you are doing this for free huh? Not adding a little something something for yourself? I find it hard to believe that.

Is it some kind of secret that its "GeeWhiz Customs" making all this? Or did i miss something?

They are taking commissions from everyone, just pm them yourself on their fb page https://www.facebook.com/GeeWhiz.Customs?fref=ts no need to go through TS unless he can get better prices.

You seem to have a big problem with my helping Geewhiz…….MOE??

He gives me discounts of any work I order from him and that suits me fine.

No! I am not that guy lol ... but did we not just agree in the other thread it was a good thing erasing the middle man, and here you are doing the same thing?

I mean, its not like geewhiz is hiding, they have an open facebook page promoting their work (wich is awesome btw) and they even posts pics of all of the finished comissions they have made asking for people to contact them if they want to buy it (even the stuff they made for moe if i am not mistaken).

I don't see the problem here wtf guys! And just to add that the middle man is needed a lot of the time! Moe although ****ed up here His work will be missed u will see. Its to bad he wasn't more honest he had a good thing and now the community will miss out on a lot of good projects till someone else steps up to produce these runs.

Sure u can go commission your own your own one off peace. But you'll probably pay way more than if it were a run and u wont be able to nit pick it nearly as much!

the difference between Pete and Moe is that we don't send money to Pete to then be sent to Geewhiz. the buyer sends money directly to Geewhiz.

Hey Pete, :wave I PM'd you the other day.
Hit me back and let me know if weathering is almost done on the jacket.
I never heard back from you a month ago.
Thanks, bud! :wink1:

I didn't see that info on the first post. Where did you get it from? Would have been nice to have made that clear. Makes a big difference. Money been sent directly to GW makes them responsible and accountable.

I still don't see your point! Thats what someone who was producing something would handle! A lot went into what moe did there is more to it than sending the tailor money and and sending people outfits. Moe was vauable arounbd here i hope someone can fill the roll.

when I first contacted Pete earlier this year to get some custom clothing made. All he did was regulate emails back and forth for a time. Geewhiz gave the pricing and paypal info. Once I found out it was Geewhiz, I started contacting them directly to save Pete from having to continually forward emails back and forth. Plus, I had dealt with Geewhiz prior to contacting Pete so, I wanted to continue to build a good/comfortable business relationship with them seeing as how I have many custom projects I'm working on that need partial or complete custom clothing.

EDIT: just re-read your post TL and I think there might of been some confusion. I was in no way saying GW was in the wrong for the whole mess that Moe and fellow boardies are in. Moe is the one who is wrong in that situation. My post was merely trying to break any comparisons that any one here might of been trying to make between Pete and Moe.

All I was saying that what Pete is doing is not what Moe was doing if anyone was trying to make the comparison. Moe took ppl's money then supposedly gave it to the tailor. That's not what Pete does at least not for these one off custom projects. Not in my experience at least. no need to get your panties in a twist :lol chill dude, I wasn't even replying to you anyway :huh

Moe was a scam artist. When are people going to learn. This keeps happening over and over. I sorry but it's getting hard to feel sorry for people who get ripped off when they can't wait to throw their money at someone. All I'm trying to say is tread lightly.

This is why I never pay fully up front for anything that's being made that's why we should have deposit on things.

Please don’t look in to this so much I am simply trying to send some work my friend way.
I help him find work and he gives me better rates on clothes for myself. You still send your money to GeeWhiz but I just help him handle correspondence.
Thanks to those who have supported this :wave

Pm sent mate :)

I would just like to say, as someone else also did a few pages back, that Pete only facilitated for a short time in setting up a contact with GW. After GW sent me an invoice for the project, I just dealt with them. I don't know if Pete got a 'kickback', but so what? I agreed to the price; I thought it was just fine. If Pete gets a break on outfits because of business sent GW's way, more power to him. He's not getting my money.

All that being said, I feel really bad for those who got burned by Moe. Don't know him and never dealt with him. It's really hard to know who to trust. I hope I can trust all the people I currently have dealings with.

Pete, can you pm a price on the samurai set black pants and white tup with the head band?
