Okay so here I will fix:

1. Chest pocket is lowered from the proto. So I will change it higher A BIT (lower from proto a bit).
2. I will fix the waist pocket smaller so we will get wider range in front
3. For belt strap, it is up to you want to do it like in the picture because it is only matter of how you adjust the strap to belly or waist. It is not fixed.
4. Zipper is the smallest and yes you can clip it off the long zipper and use the small ring instead, that is the purpose after you done with the suit.

Thanks for ENTROPY for all the inputs.

I think it looks really great! Much improved from the proto. :clap

Changes I would suggest are
1) move the 2 pockets wider apart. The height is great but moving them apart slightly would be more screen accurate I think.
2) move the chest pocket slightly higher also? The chest pocket and left hip pocket should not line up vertically as they do in the current prototype.

I moved all 3 pockets slightly:

What do you guys think?

Thank you. :clap The pockets were only off by a little, but a little matters in 1/6.

The other changes you made all look great in this version!

Is the outfit worn in the picture the same as the screen used one? The outfit worn by Micheal J Fox is not very accurate. If the one worn by Christopher Lloyd is a replica like most of Marty's ensemble then it's not the best reference for checking accuracy. Might be worth double checking.

While obviously not the screen used costume its based on the screen used one and it's good for comparison purposes since it's a full body picture in good lighting, where he's standing straight, facing the camera. And we're only talking about pockets which are in the same locations as the screen costume and not material or color as that's already been sourced.

Googled a few screen grabs for you:

Guys here is the final:

Will be finished next week if all smooth.

Note: Black belt is standard belt, you can adjust left or right or put as desired like in the movie.

No offense intended, but this previous prototype looked much better than the new one.

With the new one, it looks like you moved the pockets the wrong direction, lowering them down toward his feet instead of moving them to the sides/hips. Now their location is both incorrect vertically and horizontally.

And you made the orange triangles on his pant cuffs much smaller again for some reason. They were perfect on the last version.
It was so close before... I don't understand why you changed things that were correct. :huh:monkey2

Here's another attempt at showing how the pockets should be.

fixeddoc.jpg

You can see in the side by side comparison how lowering the pockets and making the triangles too small throws off the visual balance and makes it look top heavy, lengthing the torso and shortening the legs.

And I changed a picture of Doc to match the current prototype and show the inaccuracies.

UPDATE

Hi guys, thanks for your patience

At the moment the caster is backed up casting and will be getting round to the casts ASAP.

I ve gone a step foreward and asked my good friend Nathan Eakins AKA Silent Surfer to paint the prototype for me (so we get the best possible paint ups for Mark Simpson to follow) he agreed to squeeze me in which I am delighted about, but since he has a busy schedule he said he hopes to have the head in a few weeks. And as soon as we show the painted proto we can start collecting remaining payments

Thanks so much for your patience!!

Sean

Looks great! Much better! :clap
The new pocket placement is good, the orange cuffs are a good size and the fabric texture lines up well at the seams.

I would suggest make the orange piece of the pockets a little thicker. Not a lot thicker, just the same size orange as the last prototype. Everything else looks great.

Thank you for your hard work! :clap

Screen used costume:

One other thing I wanted to point out, there are 2 horizontal line stitches above the orange triangles.
It's not an important detail and it may be too difficult to add these to this material or too late to add, but I wanted to mention it anyway.

2 of these pictures are of the screen used costume and the bottom left one is Marfmaster's pic that I borrowed of D Chung's 1/6 scale Doc costume, showing how this detail looks and where it goes on the pant leg.
