This. I'll be watching this with interest though, but I don't think I will be able to fit this in the budget. I'm actually quite happy with the upcoming CRAFTONE versions. Michael though, I need that one. Thanks for the heads up chewblock, I appreciate that man.

Not a problem, Jack.

We need everyone from "Heat" and more importantly, we need.... Waingro!!!

Absolutely. I'd love to have Waingro, Nate, Michael and Trejo. Would love to set up an armored car backdrop/diorama piece with the crew going to work.

Hell, I'd love to do a Michael Mann display with Collateral, Manhunter, Thief, Last of the Mohicans and the Miami Vice film, in addition to Heat. Wishful thinking but what a display that would be.

Re: [H E A T] Neil McCauley by Sculptor

I'm a little confused but are you saying Rocco charging $70 for this project is too expensive or are you saying recast heads that cost more than $20 is expensive?

You do understand that this is a custom head sculpt that hasn't been made yet, right?

Rocco didn't even start working on this head sculpt but you do understand that it will take a couple of weeks for him to make this sculpt, send the completed head sculpt to the printer and send it to the caster, right? And you want something like that to cost under $20?

i'm not up to date on digital sculpting, but i've hired pro sculptors in the past to sculpt a head, and had 30-40 casts made and sold them for about $20 each. but i wasn't looking to profit. just make my money back. the guy who made my casts would sell his heads for $10. these were high quality sculpts and casts, back when dragon was the big dog in the 1/6 world.

i'm probably wrong but it seems that digital sculpting and 3D printing should drive the price of a sculpt down. but what do i know? :)

Need to say-casts still cost 10$ each after printing and silicone mold, but 3d"sculpting"is incredible expensive.Heads need to be at least 60$ if here is 20 interesents, just to pay for sculpt creating at first.I guess it's so because programms for 3d are crazy expensive.

Haha it would be amazing if it was but Rocco will definitely nail it for sure.
