My suggestion, this with neck will be better to save the trouble (if long, you can cut it shorter) but if not, it will also will be not a problem but a bit troublesome if the hole inside the head either bigger or smaller to fit the ready neck peg.
You need to drill or else if bigger, need to put double tape inside or blue tac.....

Was there talk at one point of a second version of this sculpt for the long haired highlander clansman look or was there not enough interest?

I was wondering about getting two sculpts, one modern and sending the other for hair rooting - but I'm not sure it will work that well with the modern Connor's hairline coming down over the forehead like it does in most pictures.
