Yeah, I think the eyes could be a bit more squinty looking. Maybe that's why he looks better with shades on :dunno

Still the best DH figure by miles though.

Here is mine. I don't think the likeness is that good with the shades off to be truthful but with the shades on it looks really good.

Yeah. It certainly looks to be.

I don't want to seem overly harsh on the likeness, especially since I haven't even got it in hand yet. Truth is, I've had a soft spot for most Clint figures since my arl fella passed away a couple of years ago, because (as daft as it sounds) they kind of remind me of him forcing me watch Eastwood's films with him when i was a kid. Back then I didn't appreciate it, mind: "Tut. C'mon dad. Not Magnum Force...again. I want to see what Mum-Ra's getting up to in Thundercats...you tight b*****d."

I think all around it is excellent and came out beautifully. I do wish I had spoken up earlier about overall jacket color, the pattern isnt dense enough leading to the jacket as a whole being the wrong tone or shade of grey. I may do some customizing. Mines still in transit. hopefully arrives tomorrow so I can see in hand :) Maybe I'm totally wrong it could just be lighting.
Sculpt, glasses, pants, tie, shirt, vest, and gun all look amazing.

not really getting the complaints on the sculpt, i still think this is CKs best sculpt yet along with corleone. Ill be getting the head in the next few days to put on my yunsil set from VM's release, then Ill have the ultimate Callahan!

For those concerned about the pants not covering long pegs: they are supposed to be above the ankles anyways. I plan on folding them up when I get mine in.

!!!GRAIL HAUL ALERT!!!!

Received today (with a charge from customs!):

Masterworks: Inspector .44 aka Dirty Harry.

I used to watch the Dirty Harry movies with my dad, my dad was a big fan of Clint Eastwood, especially his spaghetti westerns.
Since then, I've been a fan of Clint Eastwood, an actor aswell as his directing skills.

Recently I went on the look for a Dirty Harry 1/6 figure.
I found one made by Velvet Morning, sadly this one seemed to be long sold out.
Thank god through the Sideshow Freaks forum, I found, an interest thread regarding this figure by Masterworks.

Sadly their figures are always very pricey, and really not affordable for me, I'd rather buy 2 Hot Toys instead for example.
Luckily I had some financial luck, and jumped right on it and finally he is here today!

I am so happy and he is a beauty!
The headsculpt is amazing, his outfit (here you can really feel and see the difference with a Hot Toys suit) It fits so well and precise its really well tailored!

The accessories aren't that much, the switchblade, his well known gun with holster, police badge, sunglasses and even a display stand, which I didn't expect.
I really would have loved it to include the yellow duffelbag and a hot dog, just to finish it off!

If I have to say something negative (I am already biased!), then it is his body, this feels week, especially his legs, and I really need to use the display stand.
His head looks quite big in contrast to his body, when you remove the jacket, but this could also be due to his big hair.
Also you get the standard hands, so you have to due some hairdryer/hot water trick to get the gun to fit properly.
Otherwise I haven't much to complain!

I made this pics with a big smile on my face, so there are a couple of more than, I usual post.

Enjoy!

Just got Harry set up. Extremely happy with it. I'll give it a 9 out of 10 with glasses off and a 9.8 with the glasses on. Some of the pictures that have been posted really make the head look bad, especially from straight on. Although I will admit there is something just a bit off from the front, just turning the head slightly one way or the other greatly improves the likeness. I think everyone is going to be happy with this one. Clothing is exceptionally well tailored. It needed no futzing straight out of the box. Leenart is right about the body. It's not horrible by any means, but you probably want to use the stand or Harry will be on the floor in no time.

I just got mine in today.

Paint is darker than normal for iminime releases. I do not notice it to be pale at all.
All around everything looks great. Although, I got head and clothing and my set didnt arrive with glasses.
The product description states painted head with sunglasses. I hope it was just mistakenly not included, and its not a typo on the sale page (false advertising).

I am excited to set him up, but am disappointed i do not have that pair of sunglasses as advertised.
I'll see what mr. x has to say. in the meantime, keep the pics coming people!
