I've been talking with John at IDM and he's given me permission to start this interest thread for a Metal Gear Solid 2 - Solid Snake FULL figure based on the in game character design (NOT the artwork)

Pliskin Head

We've seen a few great Snake sculpts but no full figure based off the in-game character design and that's the most iconic version of him for myself and many others, so John is bringing this to fruitition :yess:

I doubt this will be a quick turn around as John has other figures to finish and start so payment terms haven't been discussed yet, neither has a release but i would imagine early next year but don't quote me. Once confirmed with John i'll update accordingly


PLEASE READ ALL THE INFO BELOW

The list will be capped at 10-15 depending on the interest

Price is still to be confirmed but the regular will run somewhere in the region of $450 - $500 and the deluxe $550 - $600 but as i said that is still to be confirmed. It's going to be a fairly pricey figure due to the specifics of the suit and equipment i would imagine so i've tried to give him all the essentials but not overloading him and making the price un-manageable.



I'm gauging interest for the regular version and the possibility of a deluxe with the extra Pliskin Head, please post in the thread if you are interested - do not pm me so all is fair:

***There is not 2 separate figures being produced here, more so just the regular version. The deluxe IS the regular version that has the Pliskin head sculpt at a cost. The 'deluxe' comes with the extra Pliskin head sculpt only, not an extra body or clothing accessories etc for the Pliskin head. There will only be 15 made, not 15 regular and 15 deluxe. Deluxe Version - Roughly around $550 - $600 but final price to be confirmed
(Deluxe version is the regular version but you are paying for an extra head sculpt of Snake as Iroquois Pliskin. There will not be an extra body, clothing or anything for Pliskin just the Head sculpt)

Painted Iroquois Pliskin head sculpt with removable headset ONLY (based on the PS2 in-game version) (No extra body, clothing etc)
Painted Solid Snake head sculpt (based on the PS2 in-game version)

For all those querying payment and timescale etc, this is what John said

"I'm known for really easy payment terms. I will only ask for a deposit enough for things that absolutely must be bought - such as the body, guns, or things I can't make myself. Then the balance before it ships. On most of my customs people can pay as little as $20 a month or whenever until it's finished. I still have a few more figures to finish, but I would imagine it would be at least February before it ships. I'm wrapping up at least two figures this month and many others will finish in November and December"

Ok no problem, getting put on the Deluxe automatically adds you to the regular list. If the deluxe doesn't end up getting made for whatever reason it defaults to the regular version

Just so everyone is clear as i'm not sure i worded it right

So being added to the deluxe automatically adds you to the regular as the deluxe is just an extra head sculpt added onto the regular version

There will only be 15 made of both, not 15 regular and 15 deluxe

You probably need to clarify that the Plsikin head does not come with his a body or outfit, as we all intend on keeping the cost low, am I right?
