OH NOOO, IT'S THE INVASION OF THE QUINN HEADS...:lol

Just got these back from the caster. In fleshtone opaque resin with lots of great detail.
Some nice(not overdone) skin texture and markings that screams ROF Bale. Again great
job by Dean at CC for the master and Lonnie for the castings.

Now it begins.......

This Girl for sure belongs in here.

Herpes; the first Reign of Fire Dragon taken down in the film.
This is part of a Special Edition figure/dio I'm making for the upcoming release.

This is the Dragon head with the first skin application.
They called her Herpes, because with the battle damage, she look like she had open sores all over her.
I have not started on the battle damage, so right now, she's Herpes free. :rotfl

This is done with Black Aligator print leather. Which will be painted later the correct color.
Keep in mind, she'll be laying slightly on her side with the tongue laying partially on the ground.
Oh, don't get me started on the dio/stand...:lol

Needless to say; I'm having so much fun with this one.


Color Test via photoshop...this is kind of what I'll be aiming for. With some brown/grey highlights.
Also battle damage from the harpooning and crash will be added.


That's about as far as I can get until the eye's I ordered come in.

So a long way to go, but she's coming around.

Herpes is getting close. Just finished the eye's and now all she needs is some more battle damage and a final paint app.

Herpes is pretty much done. Here she is on her stand/dio. Ready
to be displayed with her slayor.

I will be doing some touch-up paint work and some gloss where it's needed.

Got to give Quinn some love now that I got some of the painted heads back from Jacob:Rahmier84.
He did a great job and brought to life an excellent sculpt by Dean at CC.

I got a big suprise coming up for ROF fans...it might even blow your mind.

Have to put this in here.

Quinn advances further along. Did another wash on the trench, now it's darker brown like it should be.
So now he's weathered, beatup and ready to go.

These shots were taken in natural sunlight. Though I
did photoshop out the backgrounds. Gives it a more realistic look I think but washes out the
trench color a little. Either way, I think he's getting close

Still have to do more weathering with ash...more to come.

And here's some fun with leftover rilfe parts...I call this the Bog Rifle.




BACKSTORY: This is called the BOG Rifle. It was made by the lowlanders
who populate the swamplands. Parted together and designed to be
efficient in their surroundings. It has an effective range of 100 yards,
it is light weight and waterproof. Everything a lowlander could need to
live in their part of the wasteland.

I think the beard really brings out much more personality.

Here's what I really had in mind with this new Quinn. The scene where he meets
Van Zan for the first time.

I made the collar width smaller, added a button and weathered/bloodied it up.
I think he's finally coming together.

Got around to making my DUDE....:yess:

Still a ways to go, but you get the idea.

Aeon painted RM head, Geewhiz's outfit on a HT Tony Stark body. Color is pretty close and arms
are slim while the waist a little bigger, so that played well into the character and his
beer belly like shape.

Of course I will do an engraved name plate & redo the shoes. I may also paint the base a red
color close to the red in the carpet he's standing on. But overall I pretty happy with
him now.

Also finished up one of my Walking Dead Daryl's. More or less to sell, because I'm
more of a S5 Daryl person. But still fun to make.

WGP 1st Daryl head, modded by me and painted by Skiman. Iminime shirt, pants and poncho
on an ACI body they were made to fit. NLM real leather shoes.
Modded knock off bow from eBay and doubleplay's knife.
