Probably not my business, but I'm just confused to see how you fit in this, Dean. When the recasting and painting are done by the company/factory in china now :huh

I also personally think this is kinda reissuing the same sculpt; just like what Hot Toys did with Kojun's John Connor and Stark sculpt with the mark 2 -mark 3 BD and mark 4 and mark 6, just with minor changes. But the facial expression is still the same ; not a reworked/different expression.

As for how I am involved I handle all the business side of the releases (up til now with the 1st Joker and Wayne. Not sure from here out) Someone has to process the orders - prep the casts for the masters, secure and approve a paint master - Issue production approvals - prep the completed orders and ship them.

Honestly - while the most time consuming - making the casts was one of the easier parts of the Wayne run.

As for a reissue. I'm not hiding anything about it it's the same sculpt but will have a moulded bat suit neck. I'm not saying it is anything different. The plain head/neck will not be rereleased. It was a limited run period. I felt this was different enough that it may have some interest for TDK figure owners. If the owners of the first head are happy with it and don't want the second version then that's fine. I just don't see how it demeans the first.

Like the TS head you mentioned. One was in a helmet and the other not. Same face area but they are significantly different. Can't really use the helmet head on your Tony Stark Bash... Same here.

Anywho - hope that cleared it up some.

EDIT - The individual casting these is not a factory. He has an injection mold set up of his own. I used the term factory painted more loosely than I should I suppose.

I would honestly prefer just a neckless variant that would fit on either the LED neck or the magnet neck, but this one is a great alternative too. :rock

Will you offer just vinyl painted or can I get my hands on a resin copy somehow? I prefer my heads being custom painted... :)

1 resin unpainted

Depending on how the vinyl samples look these may be painted resin.
