I did contact Denny. He's the one who gave me permission to start this thread! The interest list is growing fast so I hope it keeps up!

Yup. That's why I couldn't add you to the interest list. They're pretty much interested... but can't go forward without a large enough interest list. And iminime can only afford to dedicate the time/resources to making sculpts/prototypes for all their projects that have already shown a high amount of interest. But I personally doubt that Denny would allow his team to create a sculpt that was of lower quality to the one made by a former sculptor of theirs.

That doesn't matter, I like to see something before I commit to any project. It was ages before I committed to the WGP Indy project and even then that ended up not delivering.

Cart before the horse. It is wise for Iminime to allocate time and effort into projects that many express great interest in. As a rational businessman and sculptor, would you randomly create time and cost consuming prototypes in mere hopes that they will generate sufficient interest and profit? Hopefully not. Therefore, you can compare interest lists to business/financial forecasting.
I'm an investment banker at Pierce and Pierce... :lol jk

I'd like to see how this comes along but there are a few Craig sculpts floating around and the suit and accessories are very basic. I'm usually the last gut to say this but there would have to be something really special and different for me to want to spend $300-$350+ on this. Maybe his resuscitation kit and some BD clothes/sculpt or something. But if it's going to boil down to big dough for a sculpt, tux and a Walther with a silencer, then IDK. For that I rather go for a little extra dough and get Kato & Sean's Skyfall

Sure you could put me down because I don't have a Craig Bond yet and I really want one. But like I said this will have to blow me away to justify this for their usual price range.

It's weird because when you break down aspects of the set it's near perfect (likeness of the unpainted sculpt, Kato clothes, Sean accessories, modded BL body, etc.) but when you put it all together something looks off

Pretty sure Denny knows this is just a list of people who really desire a quality Daniel Craig James Bond release and knows it's going to be up to them to impress us with their craftsmanship.

Same here, I was very intrigued and looking forward to owning one and that head sculpt unpainted did look pretty darn good at first but after everything was revealed and I saw the final product I just couldn't get David Duchovny out my head. Sure it has Katos name attached but the most important thing for me is the head sculpt, I don't expect it to be perfect but as long as it looks like the character I'm satisfied. Ended up getting Iminimes Rick grimes(not by default but I truly believe its the best representation of Grimes). Plus seeing Iminimes sculpts lately -Bateman, Chaplin, Willem Dafoe, they are really nailing these sculpts.

Ya Denny put a picture of the sculpt up on his Facebook. I don't think he said it was from a specific movie but if I were to say I'd say it looks to be from Spiderman. He said it was from one of his rookie sculptors and that's it's not for sale(practice), but impressive for a "Rookie" and to know they have him for future projects.
