So the body hasn't been sent to Iris yet? or no? I think I'm not the only one who wants to avoid dragging this project out over years. Especially considering a significant amount of money has been paid already.

Also, in regards to boots, I would also recommend keeping an eye out for the Medicom versions. I picked up an pair and they're nicely detailed, painted and most importantly, in-scale. Just my two cents.
Trust me i don't want to draw it out any longer then it needs to. I will have it out asap.

Don’t rush. We all get busy this time of year and this project hasn’t exactly been going long already.

Re the boots; perhaps GESUS could assist? He has some great contacts and has recently completed some stellar James Bond ones.

I asked him and he usually works with rainman. I also asked Rainman and he hasn't responded back. At first he said he would have to wait due to projects in progress but now he hasn't gotten back to me.

On a side note. Iris will start prototype once she gets the body which i will ship out this month so she can get started. So everything is going as scheduled. Also Mr.E took ypur advice and got the Medicom Boots. Though i would still like someone to do a run that's just my opinion.

Depends sometimes items that ship to the US get to overseas locations within 3 or more weeks. So i can't guarantee that she will start this month, so early February should be the best idea when it will start.

The medicom boots work, however you need to remove the hinged toe portion of the standard foot in order for them to fit. A little heat helps as well. Other than that, they're a nice alternative to the HT Aldens.

Personally, I've never liked the look of them. Along with much of the gear that came with the SS releases. The SS boots just look too flat or something.

I dont mind the TOD SS boots but if they were less damaged and fit to standard HT pegs they would have been best. But again I'm still waiting to hear back from Creg so to see if he would be interested in having boots made. I imagine once weathered it will look amazing.

They are pretty good, they have real laces so that is good. Only again the pegs are supposed to be big and so it isn't able to be used for HT pegs unless you mod them.

Gotcha. Sounds good. :)

Agreed, they’re nice and scaled well, but not that readily available and not very compatible without modding. What’s the consensus on the Hot Toys ones? No good?

They are good made of faux leather and real laces and accurate to the real aldens, only everyone will agree they are oversized.

No one likes the SS sculpted boots from either Raiders or ToD? I always thought they looked nice.

Yeah I've always thought the SS ones looked pretty good as well, and I've never felt much need to replace them with more expensive HT versions. Especially since they're going to be all weathered and dusted up anyway.
