And here's my full Indy with the SS TOD body.


The shirt is a bit tight for the Solo body, in part because it uses magnets to clasp and they're just not strong enough once the jacket comes on and futzing happens and whatnot.

The set is outstanding, hats off to Luis and Iris for putting it together. I think people will be thrilled, the jacket material has a really nice sheen and is soft and pliable, all the materials seem high quality and the colors that were settled on seem spot on to me. I took the shot to compare it to the Yunsil jacket mainly to see how it stacks up size-wise -- they seem really close in overall length. Probably would have been happy with a few more mm length. Still think the collar is too prominent, I'll have to see how tamable it is with some more futzing.

Great pics! So looks like the TOD body is the way to go then. I wonder if the SS TOD outfit will work on the Solo body? Can't remember if I ever tried that or not...

I did study your comparison shot and it looked like this Iris jacket was clearly longer than the Yunsil (which I always felt was too short). But didn't everyone here decide to shorten the jacket a wee bit early on from its original length when we were discussing length? I do agree with you, probably could have left it as is... but still, its the longest available.

It will probably read better once people actually wear the jacket in and start futzing it. It could use a good stretch too to be a little looser.

It's a lot longer then the yunsil as i have (had sense i just sold it and will ship it tomorrow) it and compared them it's definitely shorter and you can see it from the back. But since the gear pushes it up they look similar. But regardless I'm glad some are happy. Now once everyone else gets their set they should be good and we can have opinions overall.

Yes, I got it Luis. Other than the sleeves, it's a lovely set. I won't bother posting photos of the loose gear itself, as its already been done. Once I get this set on a body that will work with the shirt, I'll take some.

Kato is using the actual cotton wool that was used in film. He's definitely better at sourcing material and we know he is a master of clothing. But Iris did the best she could with what was available.

It really is, you've got one of the best looking Yunsil set-ups I've seen, I think anyone should be thrilled with either of these two. The Yunsil shirt might work better for the Cairo Indy look when the shirt is on full display.

They seemed a bit baggy on the solo body, but seem just about right on the TOD body -- that figure has a thick ass and thighs or something, strange how the pants transformed, pulling them up higher helps a lot too, I maybe had them sitting too low on the Solo body.

I would think there's a more convenient body to get than TOD Indy, but I've just been happy with it ever since putting these customs together, in large part because it works better with the Jnix head IMO. I should clarify in the pics that I'm actually using the Mythos Kenobi body (which is the same as the TOD body except for thinner double-jointed arms) and then the rubber chest/neck part of the TOD body since Kenobi's is super pale.

You guys are probably right, I mean I posted the picture with both and when I relooked at it the Yunsil does seem shorter, and that's with me having pulled and futzed with that one at various points for the last year. They fit the bodies so differently, the Yunsil needs to be really pulled forward over the shoulder to get some appropriate length and it's looser and seemingly made for wider shoulders. Iris's is very formfitting around the shoulders. Anyway, pretty thrilled with the set.

not a criticism just an observation...obviously people wanted the jacket to be longer than a Yunsil one. Iris's pockets are clearly, visibly longer than the Yunsil pockets, do people think that they look too long or happy with the pocket length?

Yeah that's the mastery of his craft. Thr military hem on his is there but is barley visible, Iris pants have the Hem and are visible, but I think Kato made the better pair as the detail is insanely like the real pair. But both pants have the same accurate details.

Thanks...so you prefer the Yunsil shirt to the Iris one? I was leaning towards the Iris for the Cairo look.
