No worries man :hi5:

Mud's been busy making my real wood Sweeney Todd Stand :yess:

That looks great Gipetto! Excellent job Hunter. Didn't realize how detailed jacks arms were lol How does one apply these?

thanks bro! :hi5:

these are waterslide decals. they come on a sheet and you cut out the decal then soak it for like 5-10 seconds in warm water and slowly slide the decal off the white backing. I very slightly damp paint brush to smooth/position the decal. I also use a decal solvent by Testors. I apply that on the surface at the area I'm going to apply the decal before putting the decal on the surface and sometimes after as well.

Hunter gives you an instruction sheet though as well with his decals. You can also find vids on YouTube on how to apply waterslide decals. That's how I learned how to do it. hope this helps :)

Those tats look great. I can't believe HT neglected to put this on Jack. Hopefully when they release another Jack, they will have more attention to detail. If not, I know I can get some quality work here!

I see I'm getting heat for not applying my own commission! :lol
Like Gipetto said, I've been making his Sweeney and Sparrow bases and I was on vacation. And I'm horrible at applying decals... I'm trying to get my nerve up to either make Sparrow look great or ruin all the decals.

Hunter, I don't mean to hijack your thread... but I thought I would toss this in here. If you guys are upgrading your Jack figures, upgrade to a real wood base!
The one on the right is available and it can be weathered to look like the one on the left.

Also, free bump for tattoo decals! I'm sending my Jack arm and decals to Gipetto with his bases... I'll bugger everything up.

Thanks man! I can make other things if you're interested. :) I'm sending my Jack arm and decals to Gipetto along with this base for him. I can play with wood all day but I always mess up decals. I literally ruined almost all the eyes you sent me. :gah:

Sorry, that's the college kid in me. Also, practice makes perfect, especially with the eyes. Next time you buy something from me, I'll toss in some practice fodder.

I meant it the way you took it. :lol Thanks though! I'm still thinking about getting a slimmer muscle body for those Rob Zombie tattoos. He's on a regular TT but the joints would ruin the tattoos.

That would be awesome. I would ruin them as soon as I tried. Are you doing them for that one guy after all?

bruce lee body might be the only choice there. I think it's the slimmest muscle body there is. The new SS Nathan could be a candidate but I can't tell if it's more like the TTM19

I actually wanted the Lee body but I'm not gonna pay the eBay price for it. =/

yea neither did I which is why I bought the Tonto body :wink1: just going to have to remove some of the unwanted paint. for Rob Zombie though, you'd have to repaint the whole upper body and arms though unfortunately
