I believe it was a grey color just badly weather which may gave it a brown look. If I'm correct, from part 3-4 and 6-7 he wears a green shirt and grey pants. Some more weathered and faded. Part 8 is when they went all dark navy blue and changed completely with every release after that.
By retailored I mean makes the shirt and pants more forme fitting. Of course using a sewing machine.
