Re: Jeffrey Combs as seen in RE-ANIMATOR! - from CAINE

Haha, I'll see what I can do guys. If its as easy as I think they will be, I will make some up. I do have like 3 other projects and a movie on top all top of this. I sure do love to stay busy :panic:.

Anyway I'm thinking of using those clear tubes they use to protect paint brush tips as the main tube and a smaller white plastic stick from the hobby store as the plunger. At this moment I'm even thinking of using a real needle for the tip, if that fails (or proves to be unsafe) I think I may have to try my hand at the brush hair technique. The reanimate will be a neon green paint I used for slimer and a light coat of glow in dark/ black light paint.

My pleasure!

THAT IS amazing!

Thanks fellas. He's a pretty hard likeness to capture, but I'm happy with where it's going. I've watched the movie like 10 times in the past few days and it hasn't gotten old yet! Lol anybody have any ideas for glasses?

Fantastic! I've heard a few people mention Comb's has a hard likeness to capture.

I may do the bent wire thing again for my glasses.

I love the look of them on my Walter White figure. I think that pair that everyone used for WW could also work if you strip the paint and sand them a little.

So far I love the way my syringe is going. If there is only going to be 10 of us in this project I think its something I may be able to offer. I filled it with a florescent green clear plastic and it actually looks like its glowing! I still have to make the plunger.

I was toying with the bent wire as well. I'm sure that's the route ill end up taking. I'm pretty excited about this. I'd love to create a whole diorama with a lab table, medical instruments and the cat!

Head sculpt looks great. There is no doubt who it is. :clap

Anybody know who made the plastic glasses that Sunoc used for his Denzel washington heads?

Sounds awesome. I would definitely be interested in a syringe.

Hey guys, I may have us covered for glasses. I made a precision laser cut pair and it looks fantastic. I traced them right from the cover of the movie and used a flexible lexan. I also airbrushed them black so there its a solid color, very durable, and have crystal clear lenses, unlike those printed ones they sometimes sell. I'll have pictures this weekend and if you guys like them I'll offer them.

Great news! I knew you would be helpful if you got behind this project. ;) :rock Really hoping the syringe works out. That's the most crucial piece aside from the sculpt.

You should get in contact with Caine about the glasses, may be of use to him.

quick mock up. The final ones will be a bit "fuller" in the rims.

Those look great! I absolutely want these. Is it possible to straighten the connectors in the middle? Maybe it is just the pictures but they seem to be curved up in the middle. And actually I think the frames could be painted a tad thinner rather then thicker. What do you think?
