Tbh man 1000 isn't that tempting an offer for a OOAK custom from a top artist these days. It's 5k miminum before Rainman will talk to you about a OOAK figure. Kai obviously put a lot of work into this and only has one of the bows and backpacks cos there apparently a nightmare to cast up so it's understandable he wants to keep it. Just thankful he's offering the heads up personally

I'm sure Kai throughly explored the possibility of doing a 'run' of the full figs and decided against it for various reasons. It's not like he went 'I know what I'll do I'll throw up some awesome pics just to piss everyone off'. He put the pics of his figure up to showcase the sculpt and show others what can be done with it.

I've seen paintings that were dashed off in a matter of moments sell for tens of thousands. Often that is because of the name attached but still, just pigment on canvas + time + talent.

But yeah, 5k is a heck of a lot to most people especially for a piece of art.

oh I agree. Im not saying that its not worth it. it is a beautiful piece of art. Im just saying 5k for an figure just seems crazy to me

I have an original Ashley wood painting that I paid $2500 for so I know where your coming from

I just got frazzled yesterday when I saw how good the complete figure looked with that amazing backpack and accessories only to find out you can just buy the head

cant wait to see what people do with it
