Yes our government like to tax us on anything they can. I got the new joker shipped in from sideshow and customs charged me over $100. Such a rip off.

Well, now you know the reason I asked Kato to send it using registered airmail... it's not about the extra money to pay for EMS, but the attention EMS packages get by customs officers...

I live in Brazil, and in here our taxes are 60% of the product price + shipping. But packages sent by the cheapest services don't get checked, only Priority (sometimes) and EMS (always).

To give you an example, my Iminime Town Sheriff head was sent by EMS, a really small package... but will have to pay taxes anyway. And I'm really hoping that Denny declared a low value on it, otherwise I'll have to pay an extra $75 for that sculpt. :gah:

Wow.....anyway of getting the head sculpt anywhere? So these come in pieces too? Saw a coat for sale for $450 but if I can get it for $300 here that would great.

the coat you see for sell is part of the original set that was purchased by me....Kato does NOT offer these in pieces anymore...only in sets....I'm getting rid of the coat because i will be displaying the purple outfit and since i won't need the coat....i figure getting rid of the coat and letting a fellow boardie have at it is better then paying the entire price of the very limited set...you don't often see these coats at all...
