Ma'am of firey doubt. Robin Williams R.I.P

Hey guys, I am new to customizing but I wanted to give this a shot. With the recent passing of Robin Williams I thought I would pay tribute. So i am going to make a prototype Mrs Doubtfire sculpt and clothing set. If all goes well and I get enough interest ( 20-25) I will try an get Robbie painter on board to make the accessories. I was thinking of her bag,vacuum cleaner, broom, lime, and run over mask with tire marks.

Please let me know if you are interested and which look I should do, I will keep this thread updated on my sculpt and clothing progress.

I think you'd get more interest if you showed some examples of your previous sculpts and outfits. Also Robbie said he was doing the accessories?

Agreed can't wait to see this though! Even if the sculpt isn't 100% if we could get the clothes good then here's ways around the sculpt. Looking forward to seeing this!

Also if the sculpt and clothing was good why not go dx and add the 2 costumes.... When are we likely to see a wip of the sculpt? This was gonna be a project I was tackling with 3D printer but I'm glad you've taken it on as I'm mega busy.

OK, i know I'm going to scare many people off but I have no previous work. Lol

I have been drawing, tattooing, and doing crazy Halloween prosthetics for my whole life pretty much, and as for the tailoring. My grandmother tought me how-to sew on the old heavy singers.

I have 2 in my house so I'm used to sewing. I'm taking apart several sideshow and hot toys clothing sets just to see the differences that are used on 1/6 and life sized.

I can say this... I just wanted to see if and when I get the material, and sculpt done if there would be any reason for me to cast the head.

I will gladly post pics when I start the sculpt. I'm working on my custom turtles right now so Mrs Doubtfire will be started as soon as I'm done the turtles.

And no I have not even talked to Robbie yet. I wanted to see ifvthere was any intrest first. I didn't want to wait go to him with a plan an have Noone want it.


And yes the value would be killer!

So if you are interested once I'm done I'll try an set everything up.

But in No way stop your plans if you already had them to make this figure.

Hope this explained everything, and for those of you who are still in, i want to thank you for the support.


P.S. I was going to buy Zbrush and do a digital sculpt cus I'm great with computers, but in my area there isn't a 3d printing company. And I am not shelling out 10 to 15k on the printers that are able to show all the tiny details.

I asked around and the home editions of 3d printers are years away from being able to produce what the big production printers can.

Now if anyone has a printing company near them, maybe there could be an arrangement to be made but I'm not to sure on that

Well here's the deal, I'm doing a few things right now, custom tmnt, and die hard figures. Wheni was done that I was going to make myself Mrs Doubtfire. And I was then going to post pics an see if anyone wanted me to make extras.

Now I spoke with godfather and he was already in talks with inigou about sculpting the head. So i think he will be doing the sculpt. And I was going to do the outfit. But the outfit they chose has a knitted sweater. And even tho I can sew, i dont know how to knit. I also have been looking for a bolt of pink knitted fabric that resembles the sweater style butvwith no luck.

I msged godfather telling him this and asking if we could go with option 1, but if he had his heart set on the knitted sweater than I would just polity bow out anklet them use someone who can knit.

He has not responded on if we can change the outfit or what body will be used. If they do decide to switch the outfit, i will need to know what body to tailor it to.

Either way, if i do or do not go in with them on their figure, i will be making my own. So i will gladly keep you updated on my customs.

Any outfit that you decide on doing would be fine with me. pretty much every outfit that Mrs Doubtfire wears in the movie is a classic.
