Small update: Finished 6 of the right lenses today.
I injured my back on sunday in the gym though (intervertebral disc protrusion, as it turned out to be on monday), so my progress on these will be slower than I expected. I'll keep you updated on the progress.

Man, that sucks. Not about the progress being slower , but about the back. Hate when i have an injury or something and can't train. You'll be ok soon, bud Do some walking and some cardio

Thanks guys. I'm in good hands with my physical therapist, my back is slowly starting to get better.

Now on to the update (finally):

Finished 20 sets of lenses. It's not the most flattering shot from this perspective, but they're all pretty much the exact same size and shape. Some might need some quick refining, I'll do that at the end.
Next step will be the frames. As I mentioned earlier, I cannot guarantee 20 complete sets, as I simply don't have enough wire for them currently, and I don't know yet how time comsuming they will be once I start making them in bulk. Perhaps I'll buy some wire to make all the frames, but if not, the lenses only will of course be cheaper. And for the last two on the wait list, I'll make those lenses too, but the frames currently have the priority.

Nope, nothing yet I contacted Triad on ebay and asked if I could be notified when they get more in stock, but I haven't heard back. Fingers crossed for you on that auction you're watching anic:

Bummer about the coat. But I think one way or another you'll get one at the end. Maybe if enough people buy the headplay head and contact them on ebay they will take the hint and make more.
Hope I'll win the auction, yeah. anic: It ends at 6:43 a.m. though, so I'll have to trust my highest bid.
