I am still working with a wig maker on the prototype. I need to have her redo it which will take some time. MG is going to be working on the sculpt a little further from where it is now as well. This figure is going to be a slow process because of how complex it all it is. We should have something to show for the wig in the next couple of weeks.

We are not 100% sure at this juncture. We will be able to assess once we get a prototype further along.

Hello,

This project seems very interesting and the sculpt of Dustin Hoffman is amazing.

I started a project about 3d replica of Hook movie props. So if you are open to 3d print stuff, that could help you for some sculpts.
For the moment I did the Hook:
I used stills and movie captures and detailled picture from friend who have the prop.
Arm base and parade hook, two variation of the hook shape, the lesson scene and the magnifying from the teaser trailer, another who is not on the picture for the baseball glove.
Its not finished yet. I have to add some details (engraved parts). That could be nice with a magnet systeme to change the hook.

The second prop is the ransom dagger. It's the same sculpt of the skull neck tie and one of the captain hook ring. Not finished yet, i need to add dragons near the eyes.

Plus, I have the chance to have one of the captain hook red coat, i can provide detailled pictures from every parts, number of buttons and gallons.

I shot you a PM about the Hook Coat. We do have someone who is working on accessories, but I would love to chat about the buttons, modeling and details.

Just a little update for you guys. Cheungkinmen did a test paint on the prototype sculpt. We plan on thinning out the Eyebrows and the Mustache on the sculpt. We did a photoshop adding the hair and hat to see how it is looking. I am going to be getting a second wig prototype done soon since the first was just a little too bulky.

Wow this turned out super amazing! I was curious to see how Mike's sculpt looked painted something I've been looking forward to and wow isn't even the word! If the hat and wig turn out as good then this is a home run! ray:
