My hat brim was also pretty warped. Gonna try to fix it with hot water or a heat gun.

@IndianaPaul Glad it worked out for you. Hopefully I have the same result.

Update - I tried both methods with mixed results. The front and back returned to shape nicely but the sides seemed to naturally want to curl up even more. The best method was to use the heat gun to make it pliable (but no further so it didn't curl back up) and manually shape the brim to what I want. It's a little tricky to maintain that shape when trying to move it to the water to set it though. As a result it takes several attempts but after doing it 3 times it's looking much more like it should. I could probably get it there in another two or three attempts. Thankfully WW is replacing it (excellent customer service. Thank you!) so I don't have to worry if I can fully get it there or not.

Hey man, I’m a bit curious about your involvement in my projects. I’ve also noticed some reactions, like laughing when someone compliments my sculpt or mentions it’s for sale.
I understand that my style may not be everyone’s taste but that’s ok. How ever constant negativity without any specifics feels a bit odd.
Where did you hear these paint chipping as non of my buyers said anything to me .if there is anything as such I’m sure they will tell me firsthand.

Got my replacement hat today. I'm sure you have all felt it before on one item or another but it is such a wonderful feeling to know that I can check off the head sculpt for creating my ultimate grail Indy. Now I just need to scrape together a few thousand dollars to finish it (everything else below is just a placeholder ). I'm sure I've got that in the couch cushions somewhere.

Oh and to comment on the statement above. There is NO gap at the front of the hat if it is placed properly. That is all on user error. As long as the back of the hat is resting in its natural position on the hair it is a perfect fit. If someone tries to lower the brim of the hat it will cause a slight gap in the front. This is not a felt hat. It is resin. You try to put it in a position its not supposed to be in it will cause fit issues. That being said I do have the brim a little lower than the natural position in my pictures below. Is there a slight gap at the front of the hat, sure. My choice. I dare any of you to see that in the pictures though. Some people like to complain to complain.

Funny - the rest of us haven’t seen these. Show us the pictures of your scratched paint and gap in the front of your hat. Or, if you can’t, maybe you could crawl back under your bridge.
