Ok, I'm really liking this suit a lot, but as I look at it more, there might be a major issue with the fabric color itself....
The suit in the show is a deep burgundy color and this appears to be much more of a flat brick red with almost a shiny finish to it rather than the wool of Nucky's suits. Ultimately I realize these are doll clothes so if that's the closest red there is, I can live with it. However what looks to be a much more major problem is that the window pane print on Nucky's suit in the show is BLUE. You can see it best on the lower left pic in Edub's post above. The pattern on this version appears to be white and is just wrong. It gives a MUCH starker contrast between the flat brick red and the white or cream (at least as it looks in the pic) vs. the actual suit which has a richer appearance due to the more muted blue lines and deeper red.
I honestly am not trying to be a nit-picker here as I want this project very badly and I think the work so far is exemplary, but these color issues are major in my mind. It would be easy to think the window pane print was white from some of the pics but it is not and I think this change would make a world of difference.
Thank you for considering it and taking the feedback which is meant in honest attempt to make this project as good as it can be.
