Brian, just to let you (and others) know I got mine today so they are definitely on there way! Really happy with it too, looks exceptional, thank you! :hi5:

Now I just have to get the courage up to crinkle it up and make it look a little down trodden for the base of my Joker!

Thanks man! Actually you can't do a lot wrong crinkling them. Imo for a realistic used look they look most accurate by really crinkling them to a small paper ball, then fold them back to the original shape. Sounds scary I know, but it worked fine, here's a pic I just made as example:

But of course you can start with less crinkling before, you can always crinkle them more if you like, better than the other way around.
You can also add an additional fold in the middle, which is in a way typical for a used newspaper that was folded and put in a bag before or something like that.

Hey, yes they're a little different than the other ones for the reasons I posted back on page 5:

Boardy center68 dropped me a pm if I could make a newspaper for the '89 Batman movie and we decided to share this with you.

Most of you will probably know this scene:

We didn't have high quality references as the ones I could use for the other miniature newspapers, so the '89 types were much more work and are a little different:

The small textblogs aren't readable, as one can't read them in the sequence, so I designed this ones as unreadable random content in text like structure.
Used the suitable font type for the headline and could rework the Gotham Globe logo from another reference photo to make it fit.
Painted blood splatters as seen in the scene.


This is just a first proto, the final ones will be printed on the more accurate paper and will get some small improvements:

I don't have the '89 Batman movie on blu-ray or dvd myself, so the sequence linked above is the "best" reference I had for these and the back looked blank to me.

As you can see I improved the final result compared to the first proto above:

So I hope you're happy with it to display it lying on a table as in the sequence for example, If not please lmk, I'm sure I'll find a solution. :hi5:
