Seems like I've seen them all and been burned by at least half of them... one of the reasons I do my own work and take commissions for others. I hate waiting forever or not being able to trust the "flakiness" of artists. So I figure since I'm not naturally flakey and this isn't my full time job I'm a less likely to pull a disappearing act or be hacked by Russian spammers :lol

And I've been taking commissions for about 6 months now and haven't ripped anyone off yet... although I did just get an item for King Darkness and it's tempting to **** him over :lol

the biggest problem is ecko no one is coming forward with what they are missing. He could have purchased that recast off someone from ebay. Until someone comes forward and says "that looks like my sculpt that i sent him" we cant do anything. Galactiboy has asked people to come forward many times with what they are missing and very few have. So, These are the scenarios. 1) He has alot of peoples stuff and they dont care about getting them back because when asked what is missing they stay silent. 2) they have got their stuff back and haven't let us know.

either way im very surprised he hasnt been banned yet. He has been coming on his board all the time. He was last on here TODAY yet he doesnt have the decency to reply to this thread at all. He has clearly lied in the past about shipping peoples items off. I say ban the prick and move on

I'm guessing everyone received most of their stuff if not all .The thread is still very much alive . Why else would anyone missing anything not chime in. With that said this kid should be banned . When someone's mother has to make right for his actions I don't think that's the kind of Freak we want around these parts. This Hobby is not Children's play .at least from our perspective .

I got both my heads back on the 12th of Dec and posted. Never got around to posting picks though. Having said that, anyone know how to remove paint feom a resign head?

Thanks buddy, I checked one video and it was posted in 2009 and he states he was 12 at the time, so he is only 17 now, just a kid really, likely just very immature when it comes to business.

True that's true. I'm a Year older than him and I know for a fact I would never do such a thing like he did. Just isn't a good way to handle things. Luckily if his mom got involved you all should have your stuff in even if it's ****ty. I hope he learned a life lesson but should at least come on and apologized or do something in return for what he has done. Just isn't mature thing to hide away.

Generally we wait for everything to be resolved before doing that... just to increase the chances people will get their stuff back. And I'm hoping we're near that point here.

Just soak the head in some 90% rubbing alcohol... the paint will wipe off pretty easily and for the detailed areas use a tooth brush and Q-tips. Acetone works better, but can damage some materials so I'd avoid it unless absolutely necessary. But I stripped one of his heads already and the rubbing alcohol was more than sufficient.

thanks for letting us know that info. I understand that sometimes life can get on top of you or sometimes you take on way to much work and delays happen but what really ****s me is that hes been coming on here and ignoring everyone. The average headsculpt can cost anywhere from $50-$100, thats alot of money for people to spend and have someone not reply about whats going on with them. Thankfully most people on this board are fantastic and ive never personally had any bad experiences with my headsculpts getting stolen.

THanks for the tips! Ill get on it tomorrow. my wife got me an airbrush kit for the holidays and figure I can give it a try. MThe Batman head wasn't too bad, but too dark for my taste. Looked really tanned. same with Superman head. I'm sure this kid is really talented, and I'm not knocking that, but mine just didn't come out the way I would have liked.
