:lol It's amazing what I can rationalize when it comes to spending $ on this hobby. I spend more on 1/6 scale clothes than I do my own. There's no way I'd spend several hundred dollars on a bike for me to ride but I'm anxious to see how one that will sit on a shelf turns out.

This is exactly how I feel. I'm a cheap person when buying things for myself but I splurge on my figures. makes no sense. :)

Ha i was having this conversation with a work friend who I have just got into collecting and he said the same thing, his answer was yeah but clothes don't look nice in glass cabinets :rotfl

Anywho list updated I'm gonna go over it and add who wants want but if I missed you out let me know..... Hopefully I've got everyone :)

Excellent work on the sculpt Mike! I'm definitely on board for a suit and head... the bike would be cool but I'll probably abstain on that one. I have to set some kind of limit on my spending :lol

And Godfather, don't forget to add me to the interest list... I can do it myself as a mod, but I prefer not to abuse my powers unnecessarily.

Thanks buddy. I don't think you will be able to resist though...the kit will probably be pretty reasonable and designed to fit on a stock bike that is only about $30. So, like I said, hard for a painter like yourself to resist considering the difficult part (and most expensive) you can handle yourself.

Not to mention opportunities like owning a pee wee herman bike don't come around very often.

And..even without a Pee Wee figure, the bike itself could be an appropriate display piece in any collection.

It's totally up to you though! :)

Nice sales pitch! Lol

Is there a painter attached to this project?

When do you think you'll start taking payments for this project MG? I'd hate to have to choose between the Grinch or Peewee!

I'm not sure. I suppose these kits could start up soon but I will most likely have the sculpt painted and the proto outfit made first. That usually takes a month or two. Grinch could be going at the same time so it may come down to a tough decision for you.

:lol :lol You have me thinking... I'll keep an open mind :duff

I thought I had made a comment about the slight squint the eye on the smirk side was on?....I don't see it anywhere...but that would be my only recommendation....:)

also just saw the side without the smirk....the cheek needs to be sunk in just a little bit...hopefully it will bring out the small wrinkle on that same side in that corner of the mouth because although we can see its a smile....the picture it looks more like an actual smirk because of small things like that...

you can go on ebay and search for 1/6 bike roadmaster and see some options. Those bikes are the base bikes Gary used. Gary did quite a bit of disassembly and reassembly with custom parts. I took apart the bike and noticed a lot of parts are plastic and easily snap. I think we should leave the bike alone and add on the parts. Hand paint the black portions of the bike and add decals/stickers elsewhere. If you want to take the bike apart, feel free...I just don't recommend it and don't think it's necessary. I think we can get it really close to 100% accurate but just need to be strategic to not have to disassemble the whole bike.

I plan on creating the kit but also creating the instructions on how to assemble the kit parts and what goes where.

Almost finished. I still have a little work to do on the shoes before I smooth it all out and texture the socks.
