It might be a bit difficult to have a person do the hair work as we'd have to get the head, have it painted then sent off for the hair to be done.

At this point I'm leaning towards doing it myself, but haven't looked into materials yet.

The 20 sculpts would be sent from rocco too the guy who does it for $200 he'd do 20 heads and out the hair in..... Which is $10 a piece pretty good.

I'd be too scared to do it myself aha!

So we pay Rocco for the sculpt, he then sends the first 20 casts to the painter that will do the hair and paint apps for $200 each?

Good Point, he'll need to be painted first. The castings will be all white by the way. Maybe some one can post a link to where to buy the hair, glueing hair cant be that difficult, right?

It's not too bad... just can be a bit messy and if you haven't done it before potentially disastrous (kind of like sex :lol)

Just to be devil's advocate; mailing 20 heads to one guy who then does a bit of work and sends them back to individual customers sounds like it has a lot of potential to go sideways.

And placing the hair before painting is not a great idea... even though the head is cast in white I plan to paint him in order to get the greasepaint look. However, Pennywise's hair is very clean at the edges, so trying to paint around hair that's already in place would be a major pain.

Just my thoughts, as long as I can find a suitable hair I'd prefer to do the work myself.

He doesn't paint just put the hair in place..... I'm kind of going with you guys think we are better off having a bald sculpt aha it might just be easier saves a lot of effort. And yep I've got someone to paint mine already aha..... :)
