Re: Pippin LOTR

very nice! are you just doing the head or are you trying to make a full figure? also, will you be sculpting a Merry also? can't wait to see it done! Looks great so far!

You guys want Merry? ok then... done... I will make him too then... any ideas on expressions? serious I guess?

He should fit in with the other hobbits' facial expressions. So, serious but not constipated.

Re: Pippin LOTR

Outstanding work so far! It's great to finally see one more face being added to the incomplete Fellowship. By all means sculpt Merry too... Can't have one without the other!

Re: Pippin LOTR

You just made a lot of people's day with the Merry announcement.

Expression? I always was partial with the blank, simpleton look but maybe others would want the more battle-ready Merry.

I want one and Merry too!

My bodies await some noggins! :lol

Re: Pippin LOTR

Nice work! I definitely want a Merry and Pippin head sculpt from you! :wave

I've already got an extra Frodo and Sam just for Merry and Pippin! Like most everyone here I want to complete my LOTR Fellowship. Since we can't count on Sideshow to finish what they started.

Please count me in for unpainted head sculpts for both Merry and Pippin! Thanks!

Re: Pippin LOTR

This pleases me greatly. It appears many of us here were thinking the same... not surprisingly. Expecting this day would eventually come, I also bought an extra set of Hobbits, and the clothing sets for DiD's Frodo & Sam figures. Many thanks to Sideshow & Hot Toys for going out on a limb to make those Hobbit bodies for us! :bow

With bodies waiting and heads on the way, their costumes are the next consideration. Quite a few options there, according to personal tastes. I suppose most would want their original Shire garb, as they appeared in the Fellowship with Frodo and Sam.

Since they each went on separate warrior quests after the breaking of the Fellowship, the Rohan battle wear for Merry and Pip's Gondorian Guard outfit are also attractive options. If possible, I'd like to have ALL of the above. :)

I wonder if any of the talented clothing customizers on the board would be interested in producing some SA costumes for these fine Hobbits, as some of us don't have time and/or the resources for such a project.

Re: Pippin LOTR

Merry has officially been started as of yesterday..should be done soon :) images soon.
Thanks guys,
-Erick
