I've been lurking here in fascination and just wanted to commend your work. Your passion clearly showed through all the way! I even thought about getting one just for the craftsmanship... And I don't even own a Plainview!

Shortround, looks good but I would recommend unwrapping the canteen once when putting the gun wrap on. It came wrapped twice for the blanket but needs a little more room for both. It will take the pressure off the straps and fittings of the canteen.

The canteen comes with the strap wrapped twice around the top of the frame.

When you put the guns in you should unwrap it so its only around the frame once like this.

It will allow the straps to be longer to make room for the guns.
The canteen will hang low like this till you insert the guns.

Awesome! Exactly what I did. But definitely great to post this for the others. Thanks again Robbie. It put my quail hunt version back on the top for me. Always felt it was lacking something. And this was it.

I didn't get a Plainview figure, but if I had been interested and purchased one from Rainman, I would't consider it complete without Robbie's work! It is a necessary accessory! Heck, I don't even want to call it an accessory. It's a work of art just by itself!
