Rainman Artworks next project!!!! Psycho

Eat your heart out boys!!!! Rainman will be making Norman Bates from Alfred Hitchcocks "Psycho" for his next project...

He mentioned the dead mom as the DX item.

He is also considering making the figure in black and white!!!!!!

Well deserved. A Hitchcock film finally realized in 1/6, and the first black and white figure which I hope will lay the tracks for more to come, plenty of Black and white characters that need to be made. I do hope this shatters the taboo and leads to more black and white figures like 'The Hustler', Raging Bull, and Humphrey Bogart.

So Lee posted a photo on Instagram today of psycho with the caption:

'It would be my new figure of this year. Fighting!'

im stoked for this! One of my favourite films ever, really never something i craved a figure from but I know a well executed one by Lee will be impossible to pass up!

I had ran this suggestion past Lee last night and it was done that quick. Lol. He loved the idea and is super excited to do a black and white paintjob. Glad you guys are digging the idea! Also, good to see some Rainman regulars support. :duff

No question....it has to be done in black & white.

Happy to get anything at all from this movie, but a (seemingly) normal Norman Bates and an end reveal, dressed-in-his-dead-mom's-clothes and wig, knife wielding, bat s##t crazy Bates, would make a nice double set similar to the recent Dracula and Regan duo's.

Well I would be curious to see how much nuance Rainman could give to the paint of a black and white sculpt. We get hints of that with his Chaplin, but even that allowed him to show the realistic look of a man wearing face paint.
