think this jury duty thing has me in a real bad mood

anyway maybe reissuing the full figs is possibly unfair but the HS shouldnt bother people. that way they can still get a good buck for reselling the full or DX and others can go in for some kitbashing. i don't know. i'm new to this so feelfree to discount everything i've said.

:lol No I felt the same way and said the same thing. All people would have is an unpainted sculpt so that's a lot of bashing to do. And no offense to anyone but IMO it's pretty much impossible to bash it to the level of the full sets coming straight from him. You'd be paying the same or more than his price tag to come close. And as good as even a high priced bash could be, it's still not the original from the man, so those original sets really wouldn't be devalued.

I completely agree, as I would love an Eagle Eye and am willing to pay for a full set but it is just impossible to find. And I would only want a rainman sculpt and not a copy or anything other than an original.

speaking of bashes: has anyone thought about a slim tt with long foot pegs for day lewis figures? or would that still be too small? just he's really kind of lanky.

I'm thinking now that Kojun Carlito's value has been hurt a bit by the Blitzway offering, that top spot kinda belongs to Rainman's Bill. I'd say you won't see this figure (full set) for less than $3,000 if all the owners stay firm and protect their investment.

The slim is a funny body type. It's a lot shorter then the other TT so adding long foot pegs would only bring it to the average height. Plus I think it would be swimming in any outfit tailored for a narrow. Aside from being shorter, all of it's dimensions are all around smaller.

:slap mama mia. The answer to the high boot problem has been sitting in my parts bin the whole time and it didn't dawn on me yet!! There it is fellas....long foot pegs will give Plainview his proper height and in turn the boots will appear to be the right height again.

There is something stuck at customs thats been there for a while. They contacted me recently and told me it got lost in the sauce, but it is now ready for pick up.

The only thing I can think of is that it might be the unpainted Eagle Eye I ordered from Rainman.

I wasn't going to go pick it up, because I already have a Bill head and the other thing is I don't feel like paying 35 euros (40 something dollars) for a HS I am not going to use.

Anybody want it can get it, but it won't be cheap. The pick-up site is about 10 gallons away and then the customs charges are about 35 euros. Then shipping it to you. So yeah not cheap, but its there I am pretty sure its Bill

Man I wish it was 10 liters that would mean only 2 and a half gallons.

Here its about 1.45 euro a liter so around 6.60 euro a gallon, which according to XE.com is about 8.50 a gallon times 10 gallons its about 85 dollars :horror

It would be nice if they delivered it to me, but they called to say I had to pick it up. This Bill HS has been nothing but trouble, but all I care about is that one of them is finally in Seb's hands.

No worries man! I know what grail-searching (patent is in :lol) feels like and it isn't cheap.

Now that I've acquired my Grail figures (FS Rainman GBU) I have one more to scratch off my list (Wonka DX with Oompa) and I should be all caught up and I can start buying figures at-cost on the day of release. Still expensive, but not as expensive as grail-searching :medic

Yeah once I get the eagle eye bash going I only have to grab a rainman gangboy and an Adam gu joker, but I think those are the last of my pricey dreams. Though seEing the violent opposition to a v2 bill from rainman, I might need to chase down a velvet morning v2 and futz with the clothing.
Though I feel like I'm forgetting something. O the rainman v2 Durden gear
