This was someone's attempt at Dracula, and even that doesn't look bad

Sculpted hands would be a necessity.

Accessories
1)Antique Lamp with light feature
2 Razor Blade

If he were to make that Lamp with a light feature, it would be INSANE!

I would pony up Rainman money for this. I've been wanting this figure since I got into 1/6th. :lecture

"Play like you mamma just died" George Clinton to Hazel

Warning: Eargasm :lecture

Since Rainman has already said that Anton will be his last figure of this year... can we all ask him to make just an accessory set to accompany Iminime's Patrick Bateman figure?

Don't know if I would buy (in large part because I know he would do rooted hair and that's a no-no for me), but I do think this would be a terrific Rainman release. One drawback of some of his recent releases IMO (Anton, Plainview, Doc) is that they look a bit drab and dull on the shelf. Having a figure pop like Dorothy--with that totally iconic outfit and the great detailed basket, dog, and shoes that I know she would have--would be a very nice thing IMO.

Good Call. As much as I would like to see Rainman make Data (Goonies) I believe a Dorothy would be pretty impressive
Ooh, good one!

Would definitely showcase some of Rainman's strengths! Only problem is that he might seem odd on the shelf by himself. Pretty sure I would buy it, though (assuming it didn't cost twice as much as the typical release :lol )

Yeah, well good for you :pfft:

Elvis is one of the custom artists I admire greatly that I own nada from yet. I keep hoping I will get an opportunity to pick up one of his great works one of these days.

I definitely see Dorthy as Rainman worthy especially with all the intricate detail that it requires with costume patterns, color, material and of course sculpt. However, the subject matter for me is too light. There's no arguing that Wizard of Oz is legend when it comes to it's place in film history, but so many great products and collectables have been made of that franchise, that a Rainman offering might be just mixed up with the bunch. I'm a fan of the niche and edgier work he's doing lately. It's very distinct, it's never confused with Hottoys or any popular offerings. It's very mature. I noticed there's kind of a flow with these figures, and some do not compliment each other as well as others. The juxtaposition of having an Anton next to a Dorthy, in my personal collection, might be too much, but we all have our different reasons for choosing certain characters and we all have our unique ways of presenting our collections, and most importantly we all have different taste, Maybe my shelf is too Dark! :dunno

I actually feel the opposite in some ways, and would prefer to see more of a focus on the Willy Wonka/Hepburn/Mouse/Charlie Chaplin/Dude/Pee-Wee type releases. Don't get me wrong, I like dark characters, but it seems like 75% of all we've seen from the custom world recently are these psychotic murderers.

Like all things in the universe, balance is healthy.

kinda dig the darkness. but i could go for some lighter fare too. not too into the dorothy Oz idea, but i can see rm really killing it with that figure. wouldn't mind an easy skip either.
