Rainman wishlist thread

I think Rainman is full of surprises if he were to do the Goodfellas Trio. This could turn out as great as expected if it were to be considered. I'm sure some interesting accessories could be worked out. Plus Iminime still has issues with clothing, and I'm not a fan of that commercial style paint finish their sculpts tend to have.

There's no drought of character choices whatsoever. Technically there are enough characters that Rainman could go forward with and never touch a suit for years. The issue isn't even the outfits for me. Even in street clothes (which I prefer anyway), there's no way I'm paying $850 for a guy with a recasted & tweaked gun.

If he would offer these as a set or something different than his usual business model to make them worth it then I can see that; but if it stays the usual "one fig, standard price" structure, then I definitely feel this is better off in Iminime's hands. They'll produce a VERY exceptible example of each character for like $325 a pop.

I do think Jack Torrance would be a great choice after Travis Bickle. He could really do this character the justice it deserves!

i'm glad more folk are seeing the same thing i have been saying for a while....RM could tackle a plethora of new characters that don't have to have suits at all....maybe he can try going to different genres....i would defnnitely like to see Dorothy, cowardly lion, tinman, and scarecrow get the threatment....i'm sure it would not be an easy project to take on with all the details and EXPECTATIONS involved..

I think it would be great if Rainman decided on his own which characters he wants to tackle. The only problem with that is he could choose something really obscure and not many people would buy it, but I think that would be pretty unlikely

Feel free. It's public record. If I didn't feel that way I wouldn't have posted it.

There's nothing that the Goodfellas have that show off RM's skills as the accessory king. What? A drink? Tommy's mom's kitchen knife may be the only interesting thing that would make the cut. I can't see spending RM $$$ on a guy with a single pistol. I feel that them, Bond and anyone of that ilk is better off done by others.... or.... done for a lower price.

But if we're talking about great unique outfits and amazing accessories a la Alex, Bill, Anton... then I'll drop RM $$$ all year
