You have been mentioning the non communication thing for a while now, yet when the figure takes your fancy your all of a sudden an advocate? Another typical, hypocritical RM fan :lol

Not by me directly but It may have been brought up before. We're still working on gathering support for it so it may be awhile, maybe give people some time to check out the movie Shogun Assassin or the manga that are not familiar with the material, but if its a personal favorite of his then that helps :hi5:. I think this would make an amazing offering eventually down the road. I believe Rainman did Zatoichi some time ago so a Lone Wolf and Cub with Cart Shogun Assassin would be a marvelous addition to his catalog. Alfrex did this a few years back but it really deserves the definitive Rainman Treatment. Lone Wolf and Cub are just great characters and very distinctive.

Take a chill pill. I still believe that. But the fact is that members have communicated with RM in the past, and me asking a question whether this was a release RM had contemplated really doesnt make me a hypocrite. At worse curious.

honestly, if RM were to take on the LW&C set, i'd really prefer he did it based on the manga art as opposed to the movie. not that the movie isnt dope but that kojima goseki artwork is unreal.

As much as I love the Boosh, I don't think there would ever be enough interest to get these two done by Rainman, characters from a quirky British comedy show, really not something I would see as being up his alley to be honest but that's just my opinion.

I'd have to have the movie "real" look to it since it complement much better what the majority of his figures are.

But really I need that Tomisaburo Wakayama likeness. Needs to be the real deal, no cartoons :lol

yeah but the artwork wasnt cartoony at all. i mean its a dope set either way. but rm's done animation stuff before. first figure of his i ever saw was like 6-7 years ago, mugen from the anime 'samurai champloo'. and last year he did blck jack for zcwo

but you're right in that the majority of his sculpts are realism/live-action based, for sure.

Most of the other characters from his films were just guys in suits or women in dresses, though.
