I am a huge fan of this film, original and re-make. Fincher's re-make blew me away yesterday as did Mara. I think visually this would be a stunning undertaking for Rainman plus she is such an intriguing kick-ass character. Does not always need to be iconic for me. He did Hepburn so he has ticked the iconic box before.

Exactly. That other selection is the flavor of the month and something alternative that will be too niched, and if rainmain is going to produce x amount of outfits et., and not worry about getting stuck or worry about quantities sold... he shouldnt make that figure. The Bride, a Marilyn Monroe figure and Trinity from Matrix, ...

Far more innovative, far more artistically stunning and would be visual feasts for his fans than the character suggested by TD.

No way is Lisbeth Salander a flavour of the month character. You are aware of the trilogy and how successful the books are right?

In my opinion she is > than any of your suggestions both visually and characteristically.

I would think a big part of his decision is based on what characters he feels most comfortable sculpting. Some likenesses are more difficult than others.

I don't mind everyone wanting different characters because I know at the end of the day Rainman will choose what he'd like to do himself anyway. Stansfield was a perfect example of this , there wasn't many people who wanted that figure.

A Tombstone line would be my first choice of anything. Doc, Wyatt, Johnny Ringo. This would be the equivalent of the GBU trio!

This is not a popular idea, but one of my favorites and the one that IF I were rich enough I would commission RAINMAN to make. Shakespeare's "Hamlet" played by Kenneth Branagh.
