I'm just dying for a rainman quality Newman, seems he hasn't got the largest fanbase in this community.

If Newman were in his prime in the past decade, then there would be so much more interest. Being that he was on top of his game in the '60's-70's, he seems to be overlooked here. He wasn't an action hero, not a bodybuilder, not a product of the internet generation. Just one of the GREATEST actors of all-time!

Brando in On The WaterFront, Newman & Gleason in The Hustler (or at the very least just Paul and a pool setup), Bogart in Casablanca, Falcon, or maybe Treasure of the Sierra Madre. How come no one mentions John Ford's masterpiece based on Steinbeck's great Novel, The Grapes Of Wrath.. would love a Fonda as Tom Joad. liked the direction he took with Psycho, (a pre-1980 film).
