Billy the Kid, Doc, Charlie, Dirty Steve, ____ or Chavez... Any one of those would be awesome...

Has anyone done any custom young guns ? i'd love to take a look at them ...I assume ____ could be done with the platoon charlie sculpt..

Rainman, DO IT.

Pineapple_Express.jpg

rainman would never do this, but if you ever find anyone else to take it on, count me in :lol loved pineapple express.

He's doing Pee-Wee. . .I'm not sure anything is off the table at this point :lol

While I'm not a fan of Pee-wee I can certainly see why Rainman is making him, the character seems to be quite the Comic Icon and a big part of American tv culture! I always new It wouldn't be long before Rainman took him on after he was suggested, Pineapple on the other hand (even while being one of my favorite movies) I just feel the movie is too fresh/recent for Rainmans treatment, If the movie were 10 years older or so I'd probably feel differently, I guess I just don't want any of them with custom price tags just yet.

I definitely don't think he should do figures from that movie :lol , but it seems that Rainman listens carefully to those who e-mail/PM him with ideas, and if he likes what he sees, then it doesn't really matter how off the wall a character is. Oldman from the Professional, for example, was a great performance, but nowhere near one of the more iconic performances of that decade IMO. And it's just a guy in a suit. He's also doing Johnny Ringo from Tombstone as a companion to Doc Holiday because, I guess, Rainman likes the performance. But that's a pretty off the wall choice in some ways (and was the reason for Rainman choosing the outfit for Doc that he did). Then he does Pee-Wee, which, though iconic in the eyes of some, is a really strange choice for a figure in the minds of many others. In other words, nothing he chooses would surprise me.

yeah, pretty much what calcifer said. pee wee is a cult icon and has a pretty unique classic look. rainman would have to be a mega fan of pineapple express to do the figs and i can't see that being the case.

plus, people would probably ____ up their guts if rainman decided to do pineapple express figs :lol isn't it cool these days to hate seth rogen?

Too bad if that is the case, but I can see how that might happen. He got a bit overexposed for awhile. In general, I think he's best suited to supporting roles like he did earlier in his career w/Freaks and Geeks, 40 Year Old Virgin, etc. Same for Zach Galafianakis.

it is a shame, coz i think he's a really talented writer. and he gets a lot of ____ when there are far more deserving people. i agree about the supporting role thing, especially for galafianakis. if rainman was going to do another comedy character, i'd love something from the 80s. jon belushi, eddie murphy, dan ackroyd or bill murray. and i'd still love a george or kramer from seinfeld.

Clearly, my subconscious wants this:

:lol i have that 1st series box set. a lot of hit and miss, but belushi was consistently amazing. i'd be down for any of those you mentioned. i'm a huge beverly hills cop fan, but think his coming to america look would be more impressive as a figure. but hey, as long as he didn't do vampire from brooklyn, i'd be happy!

I've dreamed for awhile of a set of Ghostbusters painted head sculpts from Rainman.

Samurai Belushi, Blues Bros, or Beverly Hills Cop 2 Axel would also beexcellent.

I agree the GB heads sculpted by RM would be awesome. Even one sculpted by the Iminime (Did I spell that right?) would suffice for me.

Should be sending these off soon to get replainted.

Agreed. Coming to America Eddie could be amazing, but I'm not as big a fan of the film (though I do like it a lot). I think BHC 2 is the most "iconic" looking Eddie. 48 Hours is probably my favorite movie he is in, though.

Yeah, Spenser and the guy with the 3-D sculpts (can't remember his name) did great work, but I'm still waiting for those truly mindblowing GB sculpts, whoever it might be that wants to step up to the plate. WGP has suggested that a Venkman could be coming, but they seem so backlogged that I wonder if it will ever happen.

Yes these HS from Spenser does the job and it allows me to start getting my Mattel figures customized. I'd be all over a RM or Iminime HS of all 4 for sure.

BHC 2 Eddie is also my favorite Eddie.

I've mentioned this suggestion already but I would love Rainman to do Madmartigan and Willow (together) and DX would be the two Brownies.
Willow was one of my favorite movies as a kid growing up.

Data from Goonies would be awesome!

Snake Plissken from Escape From New York.

It's a Cult Classic and about time Kurt Russel gets a proper figure.
