“But our trip was different. It was a classic affirmation of everything right and true and decent in the national character. It was a gross, physical salute to the fantastic possibilities of life in this country-but only for those with true grit. And we were chock full of that man.”

JOKER

Sgt. Hartman

and pyle

just my most wanted from full metal jacket.

I could see RM doing Pyle because it is a clean cut figure and wouldn't need any weathering.

As for PVT Joker you would need weathering and Serang would be a better person to take him on.

Unfortunately, I don't think Serang wants to take on another soldier. After completing the Saving Private Ryan Series he mentioned it was too much work weathering all the equipment.

I think FMJ would be best done by Iminime. Hopefully they start branching into making lines for a film instead of stoping at duos. If so I'd love a Hartman, Joker and Animal Mother. If they did a Pile I probably wouldn't be able to say no. Another set I'm praying for. FMJ is ranked high on my all time favs.

Would love some FMJ and of course, this which slightly edges it out as my favorite war film.

Captain Willard, Colonel Kurtz, and Lt.Col. Kilgore.

apocalypse now is my second favorite war film.
after full metal jacket.
would definitely like some figures.

I think Anton is inevitable, with all the accessories and great character performance it would make for an amazing addition. I just need to see Rainman hit his stride again... A bit worried about his sculpting as of late.

Oh I might be the only one but I want this!
Not for everyone, and a bit Avant Garde but I get that 70/80's with a mix of Ziggy Bowie vibe from it. Plus Tim Curry murdered that role/character like the brilliant actor he is!!

I think it has been brought up in here before, but I'll bring it up again.

Although most if not all the suggestions in here are great and would be nice if someone of Rainman's talents could tackle. Keep in mind that at the end of the day you will end up paying $800+ Dollars for a full set and maybe more for a DX. Everyone is free to make their suggestion, but think to yourself if you would really spend that kind of money for some of the suggestions your making.

As far as I am concerned some of the suggestions already mentioned would be locks for me to buy (Bickle, Bateman, Anton, even DI Hartman) some suggestions I have no idea who they are and cannot comment on until I've seen the movie.

I think its not hard to figure what my grail is, but being a realist I won't seen it happen until Bateman and Bickle come down from that list :lol

I'm a fan of the obscure so $800 for something really original and out there is worth it to me. But I'm also changing my tune on pricing and believe not every figure needs to be $800+. I think some of the prices should fluctuate a bit in the $650-$700 dollar range. Always offering these figures at the glass ceiling price is not the best and the most attractive approach. It doesn't allow the value of a figure to grow at a healthy rate if your going to certify these as art pieces(if your interested in that) and it comes off as a major price gouge since it is technically "unlicensed" work even though its amazing work and custom made. If the edition numbers are getting bigger than new prices should reflect that change. Plus Rainman will soon run out of interesting characters to do if his only play is "accessories" even though accessories is what he does best.

PS: Army, Shonuff is a perfect example of an obscure original figure that I suggested a long time ago and is something I would pay a premium price for.
