Payment sent. I do wish she had found a better solution for the ribbed collar than just sewing a bunch of lines there (and maybe padding the collar first would help?), but the rest of the outfit looks so damn good I think I can live with it.

Payment sent. Actually I had to edit my post as this pic shows it to be sewn lines ;)

Well yeah, but the collar still has some actual raised ridges or ribs in it, which is something even my old Android Hunter figure below managed to capture pretty well. It looks like Iris's is just flat with a bunch of obvious looking stitches on it.

Didn't notice that collar at first but now you mention it it does look a little flat according to the movie coat. Also not really sure if it's the same fabric on the movie coat which it currently is on the Iris one. Could be room for improvement indd. Both the brother production version and the old android version used another fabric for this, seemed more movie accurate to me. The rest of the outfit totally rocks tough. But then again the coat is a quite important piece of it and possibly the most iconic one of the outfit.

Yep I see what you mean. Whilst corduroy would look wrong there does need to be more padding there. Emrald are these locked down now or is there room for padding these out? The collar is quite a prominent part of the entire outfit.

I think the issue is the actual coat IS a padded collar that is stitched across to make the lines. She may not be able to get the stiching that tight nor the lines that small. If you can't find a pre-made material like this (in the right color too) then you'd have to do a printed material to simulate the padding. I agree that the cordoroy is not a good solution.

This ^ with the exception I don't believe a printed material will be better than actual stiches. A molded pleather pattern, color matched, would solve this but than you'll notice material shift from fabric to plasticky, switching material where is not the case in the screen design. Plus, I guess you do have at least one noticeable stich line all around which will jeopardize the effort anyway.

All pics posted in a single image for easy comparison.

Old: Decent "padded bump" scale. Wrong texture and material
Current: Correct texture and material. Visible stiching and no padding bump.

At the very least, if the stitches were a bit more widely spaced, it might reduce the "busyness" of the collar and make it look less distracting than it is now.
