Any chance of skipping the snazzy box and getting cheaper glasses? I would have no use for it after the glasses shipped, my glasses would live on the figure.

Although all of Robbies boxes are works of art themselves, I believe they ensure safe transport of the delicate art inside.

Also, the glasses are already a bargain. I mean, look at them.

I'm sure there are plenty of other means of safely transporting the specs without going to the trouble and expense of creating an ornate box that will sit in a drawer. This hobby is expensive enough without having to shell out for things that don't I will never display.

Understandable but no. Because of the nature of how fragile my stuff is, having a well made box is required to make sure they arrive safe.
The design of the box is just part of my process for making accessories. It's been this way since I started. But the box doesn't affect the price. My prices are based on the time it takes for production and anticipated quantity of sale. My hope is to create an experience for the collector when they receive something of mine, more than just getting a baggy of stuff like it was from eBay. It's the reason I spend so much time working on this stuff.
Trust me, I understand about the prices of this hobby as I'm a collector too. I wish I could charge less.
