Re: Terminator: TSCC - Cameron (Summer Glau) Normal/Battle Damaged headsculpts [sdabb

Looking good. Great job on the battle damage. Too bad there has never been an 800 series female endo shown in full.

Well, there hasn't been a female T-800 either to my recollection. Cameron was a TOK715, which was a true pain in the ass for me to find the endo pics. :lol

here is a quick WIP (of the BD look) , I am still refining the features - but will be finished very soon...

Wow, I think a lot of people are going to be sorry they missed this! Looks fantastic.

Re: Terminator: TSCC - Cameron (Summer Glau) Normal/Battle Damaged headsculpts [sdabb

I didn't know her model number, but I've only seen a couple of shows in the series. Just figured it was the same series as Arnold's Terminator, but I guess it's one of the Salvation models. Would be pretty cool to see a fight between humans and an army of endos of different sizes and both genders.

Great render, Sean, awesome WIP there! :rock

I think from the timeline of the show (1999-2009), the T-800 was fairly obsolete. There were a bunch of advanced T-888s like Cromartie and Martin Bedell, that were better at emulating human emotions and secretly blending in with society. Cameron's was the most advanced model, though.

It's just my guess, but from the story, I doubt that Skynet actually mass-manufactured Endos in the human-machine war to have genders, emotions, and whatever else. It wouldn't be efficient to do it. It seems like they'd reserve the advanced programming and endo-skeletal manufacturing, for the infiltrator models, which have "living tissue over metal endoskeletons".

It's never too late, or at least it's not yet at the moment. :lol

That always happens in these3 customs, especially when the heads are done. A few people dropped out when this project was in limbo.

Yeah, it was actually a legal issue where the show can't incorporate existing models, use the theme song or utter the word "Terminator" which is a blessing in disguise because they came up with such a great workaround. For the life of me I can't tell the difference between the Endos though. :lol

That's a great theory and I agree. From having a slight sense of humor, to running their own construction company or even getting married, the 888 could do it all in a believable fashion. Plus having a stiff T-800 without any clue on interacting with humans sounds illogical if they wanted to blend in (cough.. Genisys.. cough).

I knew she wasn't an 800 or 850, but that she was in the 800 series. But wouldn't her model number either be an 800s or 900s, rather than going backwards. In salvation it was the 600s and 700s that were predecessors to the 800. Then the 1000 was in T2.

Damage may be too big?

Yes, any opinions please make it known now.

Thanks again Sean for showing us the awesome render. You are a hero to my people.

Re: Terminator: TSCC - Cameron (Summer Glau) Normal/Battle Damaged headsculpts [sdabb

I hope I'm not way off here but I feel like from the front her face looks puffy/swollen. Especially around the jawline and cheek bones.
I also think facial features are too pronounced. Summer glau has nice facial features but they are softer. If we are going by the real picture of her right below it, you can see that they are barely noticeable with the expression she is doing. Hope I'm not off base here

Not at all! All opinions are welcomed!

As usual with Sean, it's a work in progress and he's constantly tweaking stuff. He sent me some renders of the normal head and the tweaked BD head, and I have to say the improvements are quite astounding. The position of the torn-off skin has been fixed and I think I saw the facial features softened.

We'll definitely see some more pics very soon with these touch ups so stay tuned!

Thanks guys I'm glad I didn't come off bad, just trying to help if I can :)

Re: Terminator: TSCC - Cameron (Summer Glau) Normal/Battle Damaged headsculpts [sdabb

Hey guys,

Sean and I have been tossing revised renders back and forth for a few hours now and I can safely say that we're getting reaal close to achieving those Cameron heads we've all been wanting for. The eyes and nose are perfect, and Sean is working on the jaw, forehead and hair.

Sean also asked me if we could collect the balance this week, so that would be $80 for one head, and $120 for two. Please send them to: [email protected] with your SSF name and real name included and do remember that if they payments aren't by gift, please add a 4% fee.

After sending a payment to Sean, please SEND ME A PM which includes your SSF and real names, and what heads did you paid for.

Thanks guys!
