The G-Ride (Pee-Wee Herman's bike) Closed

Ok ladies….. so I hope I’m not stepping on anybody’s toes here. I could not see Pee Wee go without a bike so I am working on it as we speak. I managed to find a full metal version of the bike in 1/6 which was released in the early 1990’s and is no longer available (pictured below). I’m not sure on the final price yet as I have sunk a lot of cash into this project but it will be realistic, did I mention that I managed to obtain 26 yes 26:yessf these bad boys (still in there boxes). The only difference is the front suspension which I will work out. I will be sculpting the add on parts over the next few weeks, can’t see any big problems apart from the mirrors. Don’t worry, I know the standard of this figure will be high so going to take my time with each piece of the bike. Not sure if I have time to put all these together, maybe 10 painted and the rest as a kit.
You are by no way obligated by this list, I know everything depends on the final result but at some point when I have pics of the prototype, I will be asking for a small deposit, this will reserve your bike. When these are gone, they are gone as im 100% I cannot get my hands on anymore. Thanks:wink1:

Update= Ok guys, you can see the basic shape. I’m still about 3 weeks away before anything is cast and then I’m guessing each bike will take 2-3 weeks to complete (hope to work on 2 at the same time). Asking for a small reserve fee for your bike. Deposits close next friday (April 13th).

He really wanted that to be Rainman's DX. You might want to just stick him on there, and if he wants to be taken off later he could ask.

Yeah, just put Magnus on there to be safe, but I know he already has something kinda in the works, so we'll see what comes of that. But heck, again if this turns out as awesome as we all hope, then I'm sure he most definitely would be interested! Pee Wee's got's to have his bike yo!!!! :lol

That's what I thought, but now Im a little worried about stepping on toes. These are metal and over 17 years old but fresh as a daisy, could not pass on them. Would of ran it pass Magnus first but didnt have the time as another collector wanted them for a 1/6 display of a vintage bike shop and had cash ready.

It has all moving parts, the chain even rotates the back wheel. I’m not sure on the final price yet as I have sunk a lot of cash into this project but it will be realistic, did I mention that I managed to obtain 26 yes 26:yessf these bad boys (still in there boxes). Damn Gary! Thanks for doing this! I definitely am down for a finished bike as opposed to a kit version. I just don't think I could pull off that nice metallic finish on the parts to complete a kit properly. Just looking at the original bike brings a big smile to my face knowing we're all just so much closer to Pee Wee having his bike! I could almost take it as it is! Too sweet!!!! :hi5:

Happy you guys are intererested, my girlfriend was saying are you sure... are you sure, and was starting to get visions of owning 26 f$$ing bikes for the rest of my life and would never hear the end of it lol
